This was the worst dinner buffet ever. It was all pasta items. The wait staff was terrible. We had to flag someone down to get them to refill our glasses of pop. They gave us a check and never came back to get it, so we left it with our meal tickets on the table, and then overheard another person... more

We heard all the hipe so went there. It was horrible. The carved beef tasted like nothing I have ever tasted before. It was awful. Was very disappointed, didn't even finish and left. Max and Thelma's is a disappointment. Almost the same mediocre foods each day. So-so quality, not always fresh. The price for dinner, $15.95 is too much. There are other restaurants within walking distance which looked pretty good. Never got to try them, we were locked in because we bought the package. You can always go in and pay cash if... more

Not sure what people expect from a buffet, but this was just fine. We had no complaints from my MIL, so it must have been ok! Nothing fancy, just the usual buffet stuff. The thing about the buffet at Max and Thelmas is that it is kind of boring. It's not a bad buffet, it's just not particularly good. They could add spices and seasonings to the veggies to make them taste better and maybe have more of a variety. more

In the package we purhased we recieved free coupons to eat at Max & Thelmas I read the reviews (which were bad) so we thought we would try it. The plan was if it was bad we would just leave.
