We are an elderly couple and asked the waitress to split a steak. This was no problem and we were surprised that theere wass no extra on the check. Steak was still too much for us!

We were exhausted. We wanted a cold beer, something pretty simple for supper but above all - quiet. Salads weren't anything special. We ordered different salad dressings but got the same thing. Hard to tell if either of us got the right thing. The beer wasn't very cold but the food was good. The sugar charred steak was a pleasant... More

We wanted a simple steak and salad and we got it - the salad was fresh and crunchy, the steak was tender and tasty and the fries were great ( big, chinch and crisp in the outside) The wine list isn't extensive but there's something to cater for most tastes - we opted for an Australian Shiraz to compleat our... My husband and I had dinner here while travelling along Route 66. We had an excellent steak, the best we've had in our entire life! We talk about this place often and can't wait to go back there some day. We'll never forget that steak! :-)

We stopped in Williams on our way to Grand Canyon. Having had a bad experience to the Motel 6 West, we expected the town to be one big tourist trap. After shopping around for a restaurant, we decided on Rod's. They changed our opinion of Williams immediately from bad to good. The food was great. I had the mesquite broiled... More

We were travelling to visit the Grand Canyon and wanted a good meal in Williams where we were staying. The name sounded good - who doesn't like a good steakhouse! - and it was close, so we went in. The good news is that the place was comfortable and pleasant and the staff were very nice. The bad news is... More

For a place that focuses on steaks, our recent dinner was less than stellar. Good steak isn't that hard to come by in the Southwest and when you combine it with a classic (i.e. 1960's/70's) feel we wanted to like it, we really did... but Rod's fell short in a number of ways that lead us to suggest you pass... Excellent meal and great service...I usually have my filet butterflied but the waitress recommended against that...the steak was cooked exactly as requested...DELICIOUS... reading the history of Rod's Steakhouse and was surprised to see the restaurant opened on August 23, 1946 which happens to be my birth date...that was pretty cool.

Have always recommended this wonderful steak house. Food is wonderful and service always great. Love the prime rib or the prime rib dip. Makes my mouth water as I sit here and write this review.

My wife and I were staying in Williams over night and went out to look for somewhere to eat. We came across Rod's and thought we'd give it a go. It was great! A classic steak house, with all the things you want from a steak house without the glamour and the glitz! Just perfect!
