Stopped in this wonderfu, character filled restaurant when we drove into Williams. A throwback to the time when service was expected and delivered. I've been to several steak places but I was shocked when the waiter/waitress actually waits while you cut into your steak to see if it's to your liking before leaving the table. If not, It's immediately removed... More

This visit was disappointing to say the least. The waiters were rude and not helpful We asked for med-well done but received half med and half rare ! There were two other people with the same problem. Really disappointed and could not recommend to anyone

We chose to eat at Rods with the family because of the reputation of being in business since 1946. We were disappointed in the service. The waitress was rude and it took 15 minutes to even get recognized once we were seated. The service was slow through out, we even considered walking out! The foods was mediocre. Will not be... More

We just came across this restaurant as one of the first we saw when we were heading back to our B&B from the Grand Canyon. Four of us dined and each one claimed that it was one of the best steaks we have had out in a long time. Service was good.

We stopped here remembering the last time (years ago) that we ate here. We remembered a excellent steak and great service/atmosphere. Well..... Not anymore. We were early, 5pm on a Saturday, and service was very poor. We ran out of tea mutiple times, salad was large, but just iceberg, carrots and onion with too hard croutons. The steak was large... More

We were here several years ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The staff was awesome. Then we took my grandson for his 21st birthday as part of his Vegas experience. I really needed a camera for the expression on his face when they set his filet mignon down in front of him. Priceless. And he said it... More

Although we ate at satiety, as the 4 of us were darn hungry and thirsty after 6 hours driving up to Williams and route 66, we found the service and menu options quite basic. No serious critic or disappointment.

Wow what a disappointment . We were expecting a great meal from such an iconic restaurant .Truth is it was the most pathetic offering that you could ever experience starting with a few lettuce leaves thrown in a bowl described as salad to kids meals that were not fit for consumption by my dog. The waiter looked like he would... More

If you want the best steak you have ever had go to Rod's steak house in Williams Az. We each had a 10oz filet. It was sooo good. The owner i believe her name was Stella, made us feel so comfortable. It was like she had known us for years. We have been traveling for three weeks and that meal... More

Our group was attracted to Rod's because of the Retro Neon sign and the whimisical cow sticking out of the front door. Felt like I was in a diner, service was basic, efficient. The quality of everything was just bad. From the iceberg lettuce and nondescript Blue cheese dressing to the cold baked potato with a pat of sourcream and... More
