Still excellent

I ate here weekly as a kid in the early 60's. Just drove through and decided to stop for lunch. WOW as great as I remember. Still the steer out front and same China, feels like old home trip.

We were very pleased with the quality of steak, haven't had a meal like this in years. The owners obviously put a lot of TLC into their operations as well. Great service, excellent food and warm smiles. If you're looking for a place to eat lunch or dinner, I would highly recommend Rods Steakhouse.

I had heard good things for many years about Rods Steak House, which has been there since before I was born. However, the night I went (Valentine's Day 2015) it was a complete disappointment. True, they were very busy, but we had a reservation for 8 PM and they got us in and to a table by 8:15. But everything... More

Chose this for dinner due to the nostalgia of the building and very cool neon signs. Besides who doesn't love a good steak house! The service was very good. The menu was pricey so I was excited to eat a great meal. The salad was bagged lettuce mix with only lettuce, shredded carrots and 2 croutons. The dressing was very... More

Great steak, terrific service and cater well for families. Very interesting history behind the business which started in 1946 and still going strong. We were there in winter and there was a nice fire going which added some much welcomed warmth.

We were not sure we wanted to stay and eat here as there was a wait and prices were a bit high. However, we are SO glad we did stay and eat. We ended up not having to wait long at all, and the food was well worth the wait. The special touches such as real linen napkins made this... More

Lookin' from the outside building, it seems your're entering an old and traditional farmer's house. The ambiance is roustic, clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The waiters are gentle and helpfull... BUT the food is something special.... Well served and freshely and deliciously prepared. A taste you can't forget. It's worse having your dinner while visiting Williams, AZ. ... I can't... More

The steak was horrible, sides are frozen or canned. Atmosphere is like being in a Denny's. Not worth the $ !!

When we had our food served it was at best warm. We had experieced such in other places. The meat was of good quality but when asked if we would like any sauce and we said we would like mustard we then waited five minutes before it arrived.
