we were passing through and i happened to take a look at TA -- now, you would think that another hole-in-the-wall mex. food joint would all be the same. WRONG! the margaritas were outstanding (and potent. the chips and salsa were outstanding. and my chili rellano was probably the best i have ever had. from now on, any trip through... More

There was nothing special about our three meals. Typically large portions. The shrimp salad was good, but the cilantro dressing was awful (it is served on the side, fortunately). The smoked pork chops tasted like ham and were better without the salsa.

Awsome Mexican food! Homemade salsa was excellent! Slight kick so you know it's homemade. Best mexican I've had in a while, good sized portions. Be sure to try the shreaded chicken burito with the green sauce.Friends of ours suggested this place, good choice. 2 more return during our trip. Try it out!

The taco salad is large and very good. The chili relleno was very good. Chips were excellent as well as the salsa and bean dip. We will return!

Great Mexican food. Good sized portions, delicious, items on menu we haven't seen since a trip to Mexico. Very good value also.

First time I ate here was Cinco De Mayo 2010, all beers were $1 and appetizers were half price. One of the appetizers we ordered was a Mexican Pizza, I recall it being delicious. Went back last week and the Mexican Pizza was as good as I remembered. Nice place, good food, good atmosphere. The chips and salsas were very... More

The steak fajitas cost $12.99 and if there was 1 1/2 ounces of meat in the fajitas I will personally kiss your cheek. There was nothing beef about them fajitas. They were by far the smallest serving of fajitas we have yet experienced. On the plus side, the flour tortillas, chips and salsa were really good.

El Ranchero is a god staple of Mexican / Southwestern cooking. We were greeted oh s nicely, almost as if we were old friends (although it was our first time). The place is simple with excellent wall painting and as your eyes get to it there is all kinds of knickey knacky (are those good words - probably not is... More

Service starts with warm, freshly made chips and three dips. All dips are good, but I could not leave the Ben Dip alone. Real good! The TACO SALAD, is the largest, that I have ever seen. Wonderful, fresh guacamole. Everything we ordered was 1st rate. Could not finish most of it. Servers appear to enjoy the interaction with the customers.... More
