Quantity and Quality

The Horseshoe Cafe is situated in the middle of Old Wickenburg just across from the Wickenburg Cinema. My wife and I went there for breakfast. It was great! Quantity and quality seem to be the moto of this restaurant. I ordered two eggs turned over easy, sausage, and hot ash Brown with coffee... read more

Service was good initially, but ended up having to chase down my bill. Food was so-so,not impressive.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Phoenix. Had breakfast here three years ago, so we were somewhat familiar with them. The restaurant was empty when we walked in, but within five minutes six of the remaining twelve tables were full. We totally enjoyed our lunch. I had a hard time deciding between the Patty Melt and the chicken... More

Great café-style cowboy themed restaurant on the main drag in Wickenburg. Though it appears to cater to tourists it was great with a straightforward menu and great service. We had the Rueben and a patty melt and we thoroughly enjoyed both. The food was served quick and hot and not oversized which I like. The corned beef was lean and... More

terrific homestyle restaurant. Had a pancake, "big as all outdoors", very good! Also crispy bacon, good also. This is my choice for breakfast when I'm in the area.

the food wasn't really out of this world, but servings were huge. The atmosphere is what counts The owner is hilarious with her comments to customers and friends. You feel like you're right in the moment.

Very poor food. Served raw original oatmeal with hot water poured over it. Ugh! Tried one of the biscuits and it was very dry and hard. Sent the oatmeal back and ordered a scrambled egg but they never offered to subtract the oatmeal. Bill came and it was added wrong in their favor by $6 and there were only three... More

Let's get one thing straight, i don't like biscuits and gravy. I mean, I really don't like biscuits and gravy. When we stopped at the Horseshoe for breakfast, the lady serving us extolled the virtues of their biscuits and gravy. As I suspected she was the owner, I tried to be as polite as possible about what I thought of... More

We stopped in 2-weeks ago and the place was almost empty at 9:00am, only a couple of tourists which was strange? I can only blame it on that their prices are sky high now. My favorite item, 2-biscuits and sausage gravy is now considerably higher now than a year ago and they cut back on the amount of sausage. Same... More

HORSESHOE CAFE REVIEW My first meal here (breakfast) at this little local Western cafe didn't go at all well. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive but the food should have never left the kitchen. The french toast was burnt on one side and looked like it had been flattened with a hamburger press, the eggs were runny, and the... More
