Nice place, surprising busy, big portions. Above average margaritas.

I enjoyed the large Chimi and chipa and sauce but the margaritas were just average. Guessing it's one of the most popular restaurant in town as it was a small wait to get in. Tamales were also very good

While in Wickenburg, AZ yesterday, my wife and I decided to try Anita's Cocina for dinner. She had their chimichonga, which she said was really good, and I had the taco salad, which was really good as well. We saw reviews where the beans and rice were substandard, so we avoided those. We enjoyed our day in Wickenburg, and dinner... More

We had a wonderful lunch at Anita's. The menu had many, many items to choose from. The salsa and chips were complementary and wonderful to eat as our food was being prepared. We had a Mexican pizza and beef tacos.

This was one of my favorite places for Mexican food until about 5 months ago or so. The cook has changed, or the ownership has changed or both. Food quality is no longer here and is a poor excuse of Mexican Food. My favorite dish is Chile Rellano and they used to give you a whole pepper stuffed with cheese... More

We tried this place for the first time last week. It was terrible. My daughter had the pizza. No flavor. Pizza was a bunch of lettuce with a few things on top. She couldn't eat it like a pizza. I had beans, rice and a burrito. The meat was tasteless and appeared old. We had great expectations but was sorely... More

Stopped after a nice horse back ride outside of town a few miles. Went to other restaurants before we stopped here and couldn't get waited on. Everyone here was great and food was amazing and the serving size was huge. Take home size servings. We will be back!

This is your typical tex-mex place. The food was just okay. It wasn't hot and the portions are on the small side. I have had much better elsewhere! The biggest disappointment of all was the Margarita. The drink was awful and you could not even taste the liquor in it. It had a foam on top that was very sweet.... More

On our first trip to Wickenburg we found more than we expected. It is a clean, friendly and busy town. We stopped for lunch at Anita's. Very nice little restaurant. The menu is full of many choices. We had the nachos supreme with beef. Very good. The chips are thin, crisp and fresh. Plenty of topping and served warm. Service... More

Living in Texas for decades, we are VERY familiar with good versus poor Mexican food. This was the real deal. Very busy at lunch on a Saturday, but only a 15 minute wait. They move diners very efficiently. We began with the guacamole appetizer (MASSIVE and delicious). I did the #8 combo platter....cheese enchilada, tostada, rice and beans for $8.75.... More
