Heard this was the best restaurant in town so we gave it a go. Waited 20 mins to get our orders. There are 3 or 4 older waiters (all hispanic) who work hard, the remaining 10 or so guys stand around while doing anything if not talking or pouring water (wow). If asked about, they'll say that somebody will come... More

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant, service was slow and the food was terrible. Save your money while in the Grand Canyon area and go to fast food establishments and splurge when you get to Sedona and Phoenix.

Positives first. The waiter was charming and helpful. I ate a frozen crumbed chicken topped with plastic cheese and a sweet tomato sauce. Unit cost of around $1.50. Small portion of spaghetti and a spoon of frozen veg. Revolting, poorly cooked with ingredients that wouldn't be served in any self respecting restaurant or school kitchen. Abject. Mrs Chew ate an... Tusayan is a restaurant desert and so we were pleasantly surprised to find this place inside a best western hotel. The elk medallions were delicious and the side dishes above average. My husband ordered the steak and thought it was very good. The service was extremely attentive and helpful.

We had dinner here our first night, what a wonderful experience! The service was good but the food was out of this world. Very surprised a Best Western would have such an elegant resturant on property.

We stayed a couple of days in this Best Western hotel while visiting the Grand Canyon. First night arriving, we decided to stay in the hotel´s restaurant more for being tired than for expecting too much of the hotel´s restaurant. But we were surprised by the quality food and the service, that in our case was friendly and fast. I... More

We were searching for a good place to eat on tripadvisor and saw that the place we had a reservation (the jippie ei o) was not that well recommended. We chose to go to the coronado instead but were not that pleased about it either. It is a fancy place wich we didnt expect, but the service was slow and... More

We had struggled to find decent places to eat in Tusayan so tried this restaurant in the Best Western hotel. The menu selection is reasonable but relatively expensive. The main courses range in price from $18 (gnocchi, chicken) to ~$30 (steak). Salads were better value. The main courses were well made but not an amazing culinary experience. The desserts looked... Enjoyed the two course special menu for $15. Amazing value for great quality meals. Order must be into kitchen by 6pm to get $15 deal. Steak was cooked well and chicken just great. Good selection of wines also. A must if visiting the Grand Canyon National Park.

We came in after 8 PM after viewing sunset in the Grand Canyon. We expected the usual drab big hotel restaurant, but found excellent attentive service, great wine list fairly priced, great range of appetizers and entrees, more like a nice restaurant in rural France than a Near a National Park place. I loved the 9 escargot presented with olive... More
