Good meal feels like reward

We were so happy to have this restaurant in our hotel. It appeared to be the only option for a nice meal in Tusayan, and it hit the spot. My husband and I ordered the filet. It was not the best piece of meat I've ever had, but it was cooked perfectly and was satisfying after a long arduous day... read more

This restaurant is locally known as fine dining. Hard to see how that applies, unless it means that it is expensive, which it was The food was fine but nothing special. We ordered chicken and ravioli to keep the cost down. Ambience was quiet, service was good but not spectacular. Restaurant choices are quite limited in Tusayan, so this may... More

The food was just average. It was a bit cold in the restaurant. I got the elk dish which was the highest priced food item with the smallest food portion. I got 2 small lumps of meat, not done medium rare as I asked. It tasted good, but it tasted like the freshly made cow meat we eat in Nigeria... More

Read the positive reviews and decided to give it a try. Came early and were sat right away near a window with a nice view. The restaurant was relatively empty, yet we went unnoticed for 15 mins. Had to wave at waiter who came over and explained that he was not our waiter. He got us water but did not... More

This restaurant was a find after several nights of traveling and mediocre meals. All of the food was really good: breadsticks, salad, kids' meals (pizza, spaghetti), spinach ravioli and filet minon. Our only complaint was that the service was a bit slow for a family with young children, but our waiter warned us at the beginning that he would take... More

We went at March Break which also coincided with Spring Break in the US so the restaurant was busy. The waiter was very apologetic for keeping us waiting although I didn't consider it too long a wait. The food was tasty and served as a reasonable sized portion (not too big, not too small).

Quick read - A goer We booked a table for 1930 on arrival it had a nice atmosphere and was very busy. our waiter, Javienr, had been in the working restaurant for 20 years. He was discreet, very professional and informative. Tables were set lovely with heavy, good quality cutlery and good quality table linen. The bread basket was delicious,... More

We were staying at the Best Western Grand Canyon Squire Inn and it was conveniently located within the lobby. So, right after checking in, we went straight to the restaurant. We went on a Friday evening and got there right before it started to get busy. The service was a bit slow that particular evening, maybe they were shorthanded? Our... More

Wanted a good meal before a 6 day backpacking trip thru the Grand Canyon, and Best Western Coronado Room was recommended by a member of our group. I had the New York Strip and it had a lot of gristle on it, that coupled with the baked potatoes having a thick hard skin makes this place a no-go for me... More
