Service started off well and were able to order the food arrived quickly. For the price food was nothing spectacular. Filet was good, wahoo was good but a little dry. Bread was slightly warmed and not fresh. They brought to water bottles for the table. Needed more but server nor other staff came... read more

I can't even believe this place is in operation. Let me start by saying do not eat here... Just don't.... So you're staying in the hotel? There's a Wendy's next door which I could have gone to and come back and still not had my food here. We waited over 45 minutes for calamari and chicken wings. In all honesty... More

Knew we were in for a treat upon entering this restaurant with its cool saloon / western decor. The service was prompt and friendly. Staff very knowledgable about food intolerances and allergies. Had the most amazing jumbo prawns wrapped in bacon and some buffalo wings. Family members had steak which they said was perfect. Could have happily sat here all... More

The huge, Western-style dining room has a lot of character. It looks like a fun place for busloads of tourists, students or large family groups. Something was wrong with the service on the night we went there. It took forever to get a table, and even though the dining room was almost empty, they took extraordinarily long to check on... More

Canyon Star is part of the Grand Hotel. It's a huge restaurant, but fitted out really nicely with a nice relaxed western vibe, must be quite something when full. A great selection of American food and drinks. There was a great banjo player for entertainment. But the highlight was what we thought were the best ribs we've ever had -... More

Tusayan is a great location for grand canyon. This restaurant was across street from where we were staying. There is bar and restaurant and huge variation in price. The restaurant is huge but very very quiet. The service at bar was good. Waitress was best part really. I don't think I will go back. The image of hotel and restaurant... More

I would NOT recommend this restaurant !!! 1-The poor inexperienced waitress did not know the menu and no colleague would help. 2-Their signature dish was burnt to a crisp and inedible. 3-EXPENSIVE for what you get I was rather embarrassed since I was with locals that suggested the restaurant !!

Ok we were very hungry, but really it was good!! We didn't stay at the Grand Hotel but in a motel in the area and they didn't serve breakfast, as we were hungry we were ready to pay more to enjoy good food. What was our surprise at the Canyon Star restaurant when our waiter said that breakfast is a... More
