The food here was pretty good but definitely over priced. It was >100 bucks for 3 of us. I had the Jambalaya which was good and one of the cheaper dinner items.

The canyon star is loctaed opposite the Holiday Inn and adjacent to the Grand Hotel. As you enter you are greeted by very friendly staff and a vast open hall where rows of tables are located, and booths around the outside. For the out of town visitor you can immediately imagine big country music (there is a stage too) ,... More

Hotel reception recommended us to Canyon Star Dining room for the steak, located at the Grand Hotel. We were impressed by the open space dining as we walked in. There was a banjo performance on stage. The waiter, Stephen needed time to warm up and soon helped us in the wine n food selection. We ordered Ribeye, BBQ Ribs, Porterhouse... More

Just wanted a bar burger and it was good. The onion rings were some of the best I've had. Other bar items, wings, nachos, fish/chips and barbecued chicken dinner. Nice.

Worst meal of a to week trip! After a 5 hour trip to the Grand Canyon South Rim all I wanted was anise warm bowl of soup to warm me up. This place couldn't even deliver that. I ordered the bowl of Chicken Tortilla soup and it was worse that canned soup. It had no flavor whatsoever and it came... More

My wife, my children and I were denied access to the restaurant under the excuse that there was a one hour waiting list when the restaurant was clearly half empty. Save your money, do not waste your time here and go somewhere else.

Just a fair meal. Not much else around. There were few people in the restaurant yet service was slow.

Our hotel recommended this place and we celebrated a birthday dinner here! We both had steaks, one of us likes it rare, the other medium well, we were both happy with the preparation! The vegetables were done perfectly and the flavored butter for the rolls was great! There was live music, a gentleman playing the banjo and it was just... More

The food here was very good, the hot wings were probably the best we ever had. The fact that the restaurant was right in the hotel where we stayed at, was a great plus. They have live music too.

I didn't expect much from this sleepy country place (clearly I'm a city person) but I was very pleasantly surprised. My mother and I decided to share a salad and steak with sides. The waiter was so nice and accommodating. They split our meals for us onto two plates which is always so nice. The portions were huge and we... More
