Not worth the money.....

Food is bland, and the breakfast buffet is cold, powdered scrambled eggs and hard pancakes. The wait staff is pleasant enough and they try to make you happy, but it doesn't make up for mediocre food......

Minimum offerings of cold, soggy, pre-packaged food. All yours for $12.95 + tax. Go anywhere else. If they have hot food, it will be better than this.

For $12.99 I expected better. The scrambled eggs were instant, everything just had been sitting out in steamers--the only decent item was the bacon. I would have liked to see freshly made omelets or something like freshly made waffles--not those sitting in steamers for who knows how long. I will never eat here again.

We were excited when we discovered this beautiful restaurant on our last night in Tusayan. The restaurant is located in the Grand Hotel which has a very impressive lobby decorated with lots of timber, a massive fireplace and real stuffed animals on the walls. The restaurant was equally stunning and spacious. Service was average. I was disappointed when the server... More

Our family of 4 had dinner at this restaurant after spending the day at the Grand Canyon. It was a good meal overall but what stood out the most was the tortilla chicken soup, very tasty! Towards the end of our meal, a banjo player was performing in the dining room which was kind of fun to listen to.

We have enjoyed 3 meals at the Grand Hotel. Great bar menu! The breakfast buffet was good. Dinners can be rather costly if you want a steak, all over $30. I enjoyed the Pork T Bone at $22.95, served with your choice of potato and freshly sautéed vegetables. Nice atmosphere with some light western type music.

We put our name "on the list" when we did not have a reservation, despite seeing only about 1/3 or less of the tables occupied at about 7:30p.m. We were told we'd have a 30 minute wait which didn't seem right with what we were seeing, but we waited anyway. Then about 15 minutes later, after seeing 3 waiters and... More

Brutal -- Our family went to the Canyon Star restaurant for breakfast during spring break week. Since there were only 10 or so tables being used, we thought we would have timely service. After ordering and waiting about 40 minutes.... the waitress said our food would be right out. After waiting longer and longer I finally found the manager. The... More

We came in at 8.45pm with 6 people. 5 tables were occupied but still we were not allowed to take place because "there were only two waiters @ work! " What a joke😂. After all not too bad because reviews are not very positive...

We stayed a couple nights at the Grand Hotel. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both meal service had issues. Let's start with breakfast ... despite the dining room being mostly empty, the service was very disappointing. The attention to service was just not there. One person in our party had ordered steak and eggs for breakfast. Before... More
