Enjoyed our meal.

Great food, good service, and large portions made for a very satisfactory experience. Our party ordered the vegetarian burrito, spinach enchiladas, and shrimp enchiladas, and we all enjoyed our dinner and had so much left over that we took it back to our hotel for another meal. Fresh spinach and... read more

Our party ordered the vegetarian burrito, spinach enchiladas, and shrimp enchiladas, and we all enjoyed our dinner and had so much left over that we took it back to our hotel for another meal. Fresh spinach and abundant shrimp made for delicious enchiladas. Also, their salsa is... More

Great food, decent service, and huge portions. We ate here at approx 5pm after a full day on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We must have arrived before the dinner rush because there was no wait and we were seated immediately. Despite beating the dinner rush, it took our waiter a bit before greeting us and taking drink... I only ate breakfast at the Plaza Bonita but I found that the food was very good as were the prices. While Plaza Bonita advertises itself as a Mexican restaurant, they offer other than Mexican breakfasts. The portions are ample and the service was very good.

This restaurant was nice and family-friendly, but the food was not that great, and when it got busy the service was very slow.

I ate breakfast at the Plaza Bonita. I not a big fan of Mexican food so I was quite pleased to find a large breakfast menu. I had ham, eggs, hash browns and toast which was on the menu for $8.50. With the 10% discount I got as a guest of the Red Feather Lodge, I not only got a... More

We arrived on spec and only had 10 minutes to wait for a table. The complimentary nachos and salsa are an added bonus. Food was tasty and served quickly on hot plates. Drinks were a bit pricey but overall a super evening.

On our way out following our weekend at the Grand Canyon. Not much was open, but either way a Mexican breakfast sounded appealing. The buffet looked good, so we gave it a try. It was just average buffet food. The French Toast was the only, real saving grace. And, both the coffee and service were disappointing. As we were about... More

This is the best Mexican food in Tusayan and perhaps all of northern Arizona. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch of enchiladas de mole (a succulent chocolate-based sauce), a combo of cheese enchilada and pork tamale with amazing salsa verde (green sauce) along with perfect homemade guacamole. Ole!

In reading some of these reviews, it appeared that these restaurants were all geared towards tourists, some being good restaurants and some being actually poor. This place was fantastic, period. We went there twice. Once busy and once not, when earlier in the day. Basically service excellent, food was authentic in our opinion, large portions, waiter was great. Maybe we... More
