Decent Food, Mediocre Service

We went to the Saguaro Lounge because it was in the basement of our hotel. The food was alright (not bad, but nothing special either), but the service wasn't great. We had to wait quite a while for someone to even come get our drink order (the restuarant was not overally busy at the time). I would... read more

Stayed at the Best Western and didn't feel like traveling so we ate downstairs at the bar/restaurant. Had a new waitress who seemed flustered. Another server, "Art" saved us from leaving. Food took forever to come out and when it did, it was mediocre. Pizza was good, hamburger ordered was under cooked and my triple slider meal was a joke.... More

In the early evening this place is quiet, except for the music videos on TV, so you can carry on a conversation. The food menu is pretty big for a bar and everything looked good.

Lovely atmosphere and good quality food. Had the burger and waited a while for it to come but it was pure meat and cooked wonderfully well.

Personal pizza is $15!!! Salad and shrimp tasted horrible. Wish I had read other reviews before visiting.

The only reason this place stays open is because it's at the Best Western at the Grand Canyon. The menu is Extremely limited. We ordered cold sandwiches, but they were awful & seemed to be pre-made. (I ordered a cold sandwich, but the roll shouldn't be refrigerated!) It came with a bag of chips & a pile of lettuce(???) for... More

Our sandwiches (one chicken and two hamburgers) tasted strange. Two of us (out of three) did not finish our meals because of the odd taste. The server was not very attentive or concerned that we were not pleased with our meal

This seems like a bit of a hole in the wall in the basement of our hotel. The food (we both had burgers the first night) was excellent and the service was good too.

After spending all day driving and hiking in the Grand Canyon NP in winter we just wanted something easy and good. This place is in the Best Western Premier which is where we stayed so it was just what we wanted. We both had bacon burgers with fries and got what we expected. It was good, hot and tasty. The...
