Horrible service, out of queso (really?), okay food. Wasn't busy and yet they were VERY slow. I got over charged and explained to the guy at the register (who can't stay in the restaurant). I explained to him our son was charged $3.28 for his drink although it was suppose to included into his meal. He kept saying no no... More

We visited this restaurant for a late lunch in off-season. It was not very busy. The service was good. But the food was among the most average Mexican food that I have eaten in the Southwest. The one think that I really appreciated were the freshly prepared warm tortilla chips. It should be noted, however, that there aren't many choices... More

There is a big sign outside saying Vegetarian food and because there were 2 of us vegetarian we decided to go in. From the start this was not a nice place, it seemed very busy with the staff running around and not a single welcoming smile or an explanation as to how the system of waiting was. We got seated... My companions wanted Asian, but they Asian place was closed for the season. However most other restaurants were open. I could have gone to the steak house but didn't want my friend to spent too much so we went to Sophie's. I enjoyed the burritos but my Asian friend did not care so much for the food. They ate anyway.

This place was awful. We were visiting the Grand Canyon national park and we decided to stop for Mexican food. The place looked decent on the outside so we didn't suspect anything. The waitress was blatantly rude and the food was subpar, definitely not worth the price. Then we found out 18% tip was included on the bill because we... More

We just had dinner there on Xmas eve. A very festive environment, pleasant service, good food. All in all a pleasurable dining experience. And saved us from going to Pizza Hut. The fish tacos were excellent. So was the burrito plate.

Staying in Tusayan you don't have much option there aren't that many restaurants. We scouted the restaurants and choose this one. The staff were ok but not very attentive. The food was ok nothing special but the Margarita was superb!

We found Sophie's Mexican Kitchen while driving thru Grand Canyon Village. The décor was interesting and nicely appointed, service was OK, however the food was about average and not what I expected for Mexican food. We had a better meal in Albuquerque.

It was our first time in the restaurant. Very colorful interior with weird bunny with horns on one of the pols. Restaurant was empty for dinner. Just three more people get in there while we were there. Food was Mexican, but didn't have a Mexican flavors. Just a lot of hot peppers taste. Plastic glasses to serve water... Really? It... More
