I went there for dinner and the restaurant itself is fine, the service was good, but the food was honestly the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I got the beef enchiladas and it looked like they had microwaved some frozen ones and served them to me. I had a hard time cutting them even with my knife. Very tough!

We only ever had breakfast at Sophies. You could order from the menu or just have the breakfast buffet. The buffett had lots to choose from. Cerals, granola, pancakes, egges, sausage, french toast, home fries, yogurt, fruit and bacon. Great coffee and friendly service. We were staying at the Red Feather Inn next door and recieved 10% discount when we... More

We went there and had higher hopes. The food came a bit too quickly, which felt (and tasted) like it was microwaved. The amount of cheese was a bit too much. The place was also really rowdy that night, it's not their mistake though. There was a large group of friends who were so drunk and played some drinking games.... More

Reasonably good Mexican food, large portions of food, free chips and salsa, very colorful tables and chairs, hanging flags, etc. We enjoyed eating there after a long day of touring the nearby national monuments.

The service is fantastic! The food was the worst Mexican food ever! The food was very bland, chicken in the enchilada was very dry, the shrimp cocktail sauce tasted like vinegar...I could write so many things about how terrible the food was but it would take too long. Plaza bonita is far more superior in taste. To all the tourist... More

We decided to try this place out one evening while at the canyon because it looked so festive. While the decor is festive..that's about all this place has going for it. We were immediately sat down but waited & waited before anyone ever came to take our drink order & they weren't even busy! Once our drink were ordered we... More

Went to dinner here after a long days drive from LA. Really looking forward to some good mexican food. We were seated fairly quick but since there was hardly anyone else in the place, we should have been. Took forever for our server to acknowledge us and when he did, he came and threw dow the salsa & chips spilling... More

We had a quick dinner. The beer was cold and the food tasty. The place is a good family place with reasonable prices.

This was our first time to this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. The food was very good and the portions were large.

Stopped here after long drive viewing the grand canyon. Service was not good. Sat for almost 10 mins before anyone came and got our drink order. Had three servers walk by without even asking if we needed anything. Doubtful we will return.
