After a long day at the grand canyon the three of us stopped at Sophies and had the most amazing meal and service! The vegeterian fajitas were excellent! The salsa was one of the best we have ever had. The beers were cold and the service was impecable! I cant wait to return!!

Wanted something healthy and good value. Not much to choose from, the Mexican / vegetarian restaurant got out choosing. Deco is cheap - plastic. But that's ok, we're here for the food. Problem is that they load it up with salt. Drunk two gallons of water afterwards. If you're ok with that, then this place is ok.

The salsa is amazing. My house margarita tasted a lot like sweet/sour mix. Needed a better balance of Tequila. I ordered #11 Tamale & 2 beef enchiladas. Superb!! My husband really enjoyed his fish tacos. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting tasty homemade food.

This place has decent Mexican food. I realize in such a touristy area that it is hard to have spicier food, so the food doesn't have as much kick as I like. That being said, it is good, solid food that you just need to flavor yourself with some hot sauce. You get up to two baskets of chips for... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for something a bit more healthy. We did enjoy a couple of vegetarian dishes at Sophia's Mexican Kitchen. Actually I did opt for the fish taco's and he went total veg. Both were good. The chips are good but the salsa is a little lack luster. but the main dishes are what really mattered... More

Great Mexican good. Appreciated the vegetarian options. Fast service. Had a nice Mexican environment and decor. I thought the price was high. We paid about $80 for four people ...had not drinks...just water

The place was not so crowded at around 3pm and we had a lot of vegetarian options and did not have to choose one of the fast food places to grab some lunch. The service was a bit slow and we were waiting even though there were only two other families at that time. The decor was little more jazzing,... More

We were relieved to find this restaurant as it offered a much better alternative to the food served in our hotel bar. The food wasn't extraordinary, but was fresh and there was a good selection. A good family option.

We were looking for an alternative to dining in the Grand Canyon Village, and drove out to Tusayan, where our hopes weren't high. But we were pleasantly surprised to have a delicious and filling meal at Sophie's. The vegetarians in our family were well catered for. We enjoyed the shrimp diablo, chimichangas, and tacos. Definitely worth the drive even if... More
