Good service and beer, disappointing food

Turned up here at random. Looked good and was busy. I had the fajita chicken burrito and my wife had a chicken chimichanga. Both were a bit bland and dry. I did enjoy my beer. Prices were reasonable. I wouldn't go back.

great overall experience. Decoration is unique. Food was freshly made, even we were very early (4pm) and service was very lovely (kids spilled a drink all over the table and the lade reacted very nicely)

It seems this place always has a crowd. The beer and food are great and the salsa and chips are delicious. I had a Chimichanga and it was so big I had a hard time finishing it. However, with a few beers, all went well. Check it out if you like Mexican food.

We are staying nearby but didn't want to eat 'on site'. A short car drive took us into Tusayan where we stumbled across Sophie's kitchen. The restaurant was busy and buzzing. We were seated quickly and brought complimentary nachos and salsa as we perused the menu. There was an extensive menu with all the usual Mexican delights to choose from... More

The place is cute.. But... They served the food surprisingly fast, it seemed like it was made even before we got there. And the service is not that good.

We stopped for lunch at Sophie's after touring the Grand Canyon. The food was pretty good, especially the chicken enchiladas. The mixed drinks weren't bad either…..

we stopped by Sophie's after a long day at the rim. Food was good and servings were generous, loved the aguas frescas. Prices were a bit high for the average quality. Not many small portion options.

We were attracted by sophie's restaurant because of the outside decor and because we like mexican food. The food was pretty good. We had tacos and they were cooked to perfection. The owner's made sure that the customers knew they were a charge for sharing dinners and it was clear on the menu among the other prices like additional nachos... More

We noticed Sophia's because of their "great vegetarian" sign and we weren't disappointed. After a full day at the Canyon we stopped in for dinner and had a hard time choosing from all the great options (not just veg, they have a wide and varied menu). The food was fresh and wonderful, the service was great (thanks Miguel), and the... More

I was drawn in by the cute appearance of the restaurant and sign out front. Atmosphere was bright and colorful although not very clean. Inside the food was not great, food was bland and not of the highest quality. It was extremely overpriced plus there is an automatic 18% tip for a family of five and over which our waitress... More
