Bland

The place is cute enough and the staff was friendly - especially our young waitress. Ordered pizza by the slice and the slices were quite large. However, the crust was a bit soggy (and very hard to cut) and the pizza was very bland and uninteresting. My spouse had the veal parmigian - said the... read more

Our favorite spot. Everything we had was great. Nice service, good value. It was good service. The only challenge was sometimes having to wait for a table.

What a pleasant surprise. We were in the Tubac area and looking for a lunch spot. We have been to a great place down the road in Rio Rico, but it was closed. We stumbled onto this place by accident. While the interior could use a little work, it is sort of worn around the edges, the food was very... More

Wife & I ate here Dec 26,2014. I has shrimp carabonara, which was good, not great. She had chicken ceasar salad, which was very good. It was busy, but our server (Celina) was excellent. Our table wobbled, & without us asking she got something to put under a leg to fix it. Nice little place with checkered tablecloths. We would... More

I have visited it for several years and always enjoyed it. I recently had the penne with Bolognese sauce. The pasta was under-cooked by about a minute. The sauce was their marinara with some ground beef and sausage added. There was nothing bad about the sauce - but I wouldn't call it a Bolognese sauce. The Cesar salad was a... More

People are so friendly. My hot dog was just wonderful--big fat hot dog with the ends hanging out of the bun, lavished with sauerkraut and chili. Lots of folks eating their pizza, also, which looked good.

Nice location, but nothing else stands out. Disappointed in the service and the food was not great. There are better places to go in the neighborhood.

This place is always packed and always delicious. They also have plenty of options for special diets, including gluten-free and vegetarian.

We stopped in desperation and found the food quite delicious, if somewhat pricy. The Arizona version of a "New York Pizzeria" will make you New Yorkers smile (and wish you were home).

This restaurant consistantly puts out very good Italian food. With so many restaurants, consistancy is a big issue--you go once and its great--the next time, not so much. However I have eaten at the Italian Peasant both for lunch and dinner repeatedly, and yet to have a bad experience. The service is good, the prices moderate, and the food very... More
