This restaurant is a well-balanced menu from light and healthy dishes to the heavy eater. My wife loves they're Mediterranean style dishes and I go for the hunter sandwich which is thinly sliced fillet mignon sautéed Portabella mushrooms melted provolone on grilled Italian bread. Very nice and romantic dining room. You can also get pizza ago.

Inexpensive good southern Italian food.Service excellent, busy all the time but doesnt affect the food or service. Owner died last year but continued at the same level by Ms. Puglisi, his widow. Good wine list at low prices.Feels like NYC in Tubac of all places.

Always enjoy the food here! Great place to stop at before or after shopping at the Tubac stores and galleries. Food is always fresh and good. Love to start the meal with a Caparse salad. Fish and chips are fresh. Enjoy!!!

The restaurant was very cold as a big fan was blowing cold air over the tables. Caesar salads were ok, nothing special. We ordered spaghetti Alfredo, very bland and unappetizing and the Spaghetti Fresca, which was pretty good but a small portion. I was the lucky one and ordered the small eggplant parmigiana. It was excellent and came with a... More

This place is a quaint little Italian restaurant with great food. Lots of seafood pasta choices and killer pizza. The oyster rocker fellers and mussels appetizers are awesome. Staff is always friendly.

We ate here for lunch and were impressed with the wide variety of entree options. The burgers are large and definitely shareable for lunch. Great service and pleasant atmosphere.

While staying in Tubac for the month of March we have visited the Italian Peasant several times. They have a fabulous burger. My husband and I shared one and it was plenty. Cocktails are very reasonable. Very nice staff.

Really enjoy the Peasant's food. Seems homemade and large proportions. The only real drawback to the place is the service. Its very pleasant and helpful, BUT, it takes forever to order and to get your food. It took over 20 minutes just to order, the close to 45 to get our orders. You'll enjoy the food, but plan for the... More

Dressing on Ceasars salad was good. Pizza toppings were ample and tasty but crust was tough. Friendly and nice NY atmosphere.
