I thought the place was OK. I liked the atmosphere, the food was decent but expensive. There never seemed to be any customers tho, being a little off the beaten path at the far edge of the business district. It closed in early May. :(

While visiting Tubac with my family we stopped in for some mexican food. I had ate here before 7 yrs prior which was fabulous. But this was my last. The waitress was rude, slow. We were on the patio and were given some chips and salsa with no taste. There were 6 of us. We ordered drinks and our meals.... More

This place is best for its outdoor patio. Food is Mexican and is good...not great, but the beer is cold and after walking around Tubac it is a nice place to rest your feet while enjoying a beverage of your choice.

Horrible service and worse food! Their guacamole was far from "home made". It tasted just like Wholly Guacamole from the grocery store but a lot more expensive. Their salsa was simply marinara sauce. After that there was no way we were going to order meals. And not at their expensive prices!! Never coming back!

5 of us and a 20 month old went here. Waited for over 47 minutes for our food, had to ask for drinks, had to go get our chips and salsa. When we asked for a kids menu they had none. So asked for a cheese burrito for the little one, the waitress said " well it's busy and I... More

We had lunch recently at De Anza. We split the Natcho’s that were average at best. My wife’s enjoyed her tortilla soup. My fish tacos were probably the worst I have ever had. Our server was OK and the building seemed to have seen better days. It is not on my need to return list.

TERRIBLE!!!! No stars would be appropriate. Waited almost two hours for our "food". Kids had $11 "nachos" -15 dry chips with dry chicken. Tortilla soup was a tortilla in the bottom of a bowl with salty water, the fish tacos were like dead goldfish . The fish was freezer burned, cold, and flavorless. There wasn't any "mango salsa" as they... More

Along with 6 other locals, I ate at De Anza Restaurant this week. Service was good, guacamole was very good, sopapillas were excellent, margarita was superb, wine was good, and everyone enjoyed the dinners they ordered.

As many other people have said, the drinks were good.....but then you can get a good margarita at hundreds of bars in AZ. The food was poor and the service even worse. It seemed we were bothering our waitress any time we asked for something - even when it was to correct a mistake she had made. The only good... More

We were in Tubac for a few days and discovered De Anza Restaurant which has the best margarita's in town, after trying Elvira's which is over priced and over rated, De Anza was a great find. We had the guacamole which was made by the owner / bartender and it was excellent. We also had the chili rellenos and all... More
