Nice stop along Apache Trail

My husband, 12 yr old son and my parents who are in their mid-to-late 60s visited on July 5th. We drove clockwise from Apache Junction and stopped here for lunch. I wish I remembered our waiter's name but by now it has slipped my mind. He was very nice and helpful. My parents had a dog with them... read more

We stopped in after driving out to see Canyon Lake. We ordered the local beer - Moose Oil for me, Snake Venom for my other half - and some "bar food". Food was fine, but we really stopped here so we could get squirted by Sheriff Karen. She's fun, and makes the place worth visiting.

Great Chili bowl! Waitstaff was wonderful. It was a fun place to check out the walls and all the dollars bills on the wall and the old antiques. The women's bathroom was a hoot!!!! It was a rainy day as we headed up but cleared up by the time we got there. It is a very windy drive, so make... More

The food was OK and the prices were reasonable but you really go here for the Old West saloon atmosphere (and it's the only restaurant here). Go next door for the prickly pear ice cream!

We like the road and the views on the way to Tortilla Flats. The food in the saloon is good, especially the hamburgers. Some of our friends enjoy the prickly pear ice cream that can be purchased in one of the other little stores close to the saloon.

A long drive on a winding road so do it in good weather - the saloon at the end of your trip is a funky cool place with lots on the wall to see - food was good and beer cold but it is atmosphere more than culinary delights that you go for

The scenery is awesome, the people are kind, the food is great and the setup is devine. Ok, it's the scenic route and it takes a little longer but it's worth it! Pimped up fastfood with a twitch 👌

It is very interesting inside with alit to see. Staff is very nice but we had the bbq pork and beef sandwiches. Food was fresh and hot but the flavor really lacked. Maybe other menu items are better. There are many selections on their menu.

Can't review the food, as I got car sick on the ride up to Tortilla Flat. However, the staff was great, and when I ordered a Coke, instead of a beer due to the motion sickness, the waiter suggested that I drink a club soda first, to offset the motion sickness. It helped tremendously, but the ride back down the... More

This little restaurant/bar was very unique in it decorations. The bar had real saddles as seats and the walls were covered with the $1.00 bills, numerous. The owner was nice and took our picture setting at the bar on the saddles. The food was very good too and we had a lot of fun just exploring this very very small... More
