A friend and I hiked in and had lunch there. Pleasant surprise all around. The place is well tended, the restaurant served us yummy food, and the top hotel room has outstanding views of the lake. Cute bungalows as well. Go!

Vulcano Lodge was where we ate when we visited Jabalito. I was a bit on the queasy side but the soup I age brought my system around. It has beautiful outdoor seating with delicious food and wonderful staff.

I've already reviewed the lodge, but having stayed here twice now, I would just like to comment on the meals. The food is super fresh, always. You can eat cheaper in Jaibalito, but we like the food so much we've just mostly stuck to the lodge. Dinners are huge and include soup, salad, main course, and dessert with coffee or... More

To be honest there are not too many restaurants in Jaibalito. But there really doesn't need to be because there is Volcano Lodge. I did not just have a great time staying there but also highly enjoyed the food! New specials on the menu every day, local food cooked right as well as international cuisine. The best about it though... More

During my stay at Vulcano Lodge i tried out quite a part of their menu:breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner. The restaurant is open for breakfast/lunch from 7:30am to 4:30pm.If you want dinner you have to sign up before 3pm,and it's worth a shot! They serve dinner family-style and the food is just out of this world. They change the menu everyday but you... More

I have had delicious meals there many times over the past two months. Dinner is by reservation only and the meal is served family style with a set menu. This was a wonderful way to chat with people from all over the globe. Breakfast and lunch are also available. The menu works well for vegetarians and vegans. Indoor and outside seating.... More

This is an exceptional hotel and restaurant located in Jaibalito on Lake Atitlan. The staff is great and the restaurant is excellent. If you want to experience the local indigenous culture then this is a good place to start because it is right next to the village.

I liked all of it! The food is delicious, homemade bread, good breakfast, and a dinner made of the chef himself, always good.
