This place was very nice with a good choice of menu. I am a vegetarian and had vegetarian fried rice there. Was very tasty. The natural juices were also great! Close to drake bay beach.

The first impression was horrible. My fried fish was overlook and there was one server taking care of the costumers. My wife had the vegetable rice and loved it. So we went back a second time and I order ceviche and it was spectacular. However, again it was just one server. At one point he changed his t-shirt because he... More

After reading the recommendations we decided to eat here. Disappointment. The staff didnt really look at you, let alone speak. I ordered a main and my boyfriend a starter and a main. We had to wait almost an hour for our food and when it came they made the wrong dish for my boyfriend. Eventually they brought the ceviche (starter)... More

Considering all restaurants in Drake bay are an extension of the cook's family house, you expect to have TV always on with soap opera or soccer. Waiter is not very friendly as it seems he never leaves his 'house'. Food is good though, very 'home style'.

In looking at the place, you wouldn't think you would get a great meal there. (In all fairness I did hear that the building suffered some storm damage) But since ambiance is part of the over all rating I guess I can't give it all 5 stars, but since we didn't go there for "ambiance", we went there to eat,... We passed the first few nights but did not go in because it looked quiet and one night there was loud music. But we did try it and the quality of the food- salads, rice and beans, grilled fish were all very good, better than the other places we tried and we ate in Drake Bay 6 mights! Juices/smoothies also... More

We met friends at this seafood restaurant and it was excellent. Very fresh quality at a good value. I had the mangrove mussel cerviche and my friend had rice with shrimp. It was yummy!

Fantastic civiche and patacones. Great location too. Ignore his lack of cheer and the food's worth it.

Went here for lunch after scuba diving and LOVED the food. The flavor, the quantity, the service and the cost.. all five stars. Really a wonderful surprise in such an isolated small town. The best lunch we've had in Costa Rica so far on our vacation.

This place is just a bit down the street from the main area. The casado with shrimps was burst with delicious flavors. The plate was substantial. Also had the fresh papaya juice which was very good and refreshing. People were very friendly and I even got to meet a local to enjoy a drink with. Upon finishing it started pouring... More
