My friends and I are spending three months in Dominical and Nanyoa's has become our go-to local place for food. The casados are as good or better than anywhere else in town and significantly cheaper! And a special note for their service. Juan Carlo is fluently bilingual and loves to help others work on their Spanish! All in all a... More

Based on Lonely Planet's recommendation, we ate breakfast here everyday. The staff are welcoming, the food is fantastic (best gallo pinto we had in CR) and the price is right. So worth a visit.

Food prepared with love and care. No rush. Pure Vida means above all relax and slow down. Difficult for some, easy for us. Louisa Elizondo is the owner. She spent 11 years in Michigan which is where we are from. We had a nice chat. She is awesome.

The soda has good food at really reasonable prices. We've been here several times and had breakfast, some fruit juices, grilled fish, chicken, ceviche, burgers and everything was tasty. The service is nice (special thanks to Adrian!). But remember, it's a soda and not a restaurant. Don't expect anything fancy. However you might get a candle light dinner during a... More

We had dinner in this small soda. The prices were reasonable and the food is typical and good. You could also order hamburger and similar staff. If you like to have a beer, feel free to buy it at the supermarket across the street and bring it with you. But the fruit shakes are very good as well so you... More

After having casados (first time ever) in San Jose on day one of our trip we were craving them again by day three. Went into town and ordered them at Soda y Nanyoa - para llevar to have back at the house for lunch. Good prices and the food was great. Wish we didn't have so many other places to... More

After a morning touring Hacienda Baru and Zip Lining we had worked up an appetite and headed to Dominical to satisfy it! Quaint location, friendly service and delicious food! We had the Casados Pollo, Shrimp and Rice, Seaworthy Rice (rice full of seafood - shrimp, blue crab, clams, scallops) . . . Healthy portions, tasty and delicious. The Smoothies were... More

We've had a ceviche as lunch there and it tastes good and it's cheap. Same day we went for dinner which was also nice and cheap if you're looking for simple but tasteful Costa rican food.
