Delicious food at a great price

We ate here twice while in Dominical last week--once for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was great and the prices were some of the best we found at the Sodas (cafes) in the area. The casados, breakfasts (gallo pinto & eggs) and batido smoothies were all great. The restaurant isn't nice but... read more

We came twice and liked casados, pico de gallo, batidos and soups. Very reasonably priced, family owned small place.

I didn't get to try their lunches, but their dinners were superb and, as is the case with any reputable Soda, inexpensive. Incredibly kind and charismatic old lady owns and helps operate the place. It may look modest but that's why it's great. As a vegetarian I was quite happy but those of most eating habits will feel well taken... More

Simple well prepared typical Costa Rican food. Yummy fruit flavored naturales, try the Arroz con pollo!

The Huevos were excellent, great sauce. My server was excellent . I'm going back. The menu is large with a lot of choices.

A great place for a lunch in Dominical. Their casados are delicious and the prices are quite reasonable. We had an appetizer, two smoothies and two casados for around $20. The young man waiting on us was so sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend trying it for lunch. Don't expect it to be fast, but that is typical for the... More

My friends and I are spending three months in Dominical and Nanyoa's has become our go-to local place for food. The casados are as good or better than anywhere else in town and significantly cheaper! And a special note for their service. Juan Carlo is fluently bilingual and loves to help others work on their Spanish! All in all a... More

Based on Lonely Planet's recommendation, we ate breakfast here everyday. The staff are welcoming, the food is fantastic (best gallo pinto we had in CR) and the price is right. So worth a visit.

Food prepared with love and care. No rush. Pure Vida means above all relax and slow down. Difficult for some, easy for us. Louisa Elizondo is the owner. She spent 11 years in Michigan which is where we are from. We had a nice chat. She is awesome.

The soda has good food at really reasonable prices. We've been here several times and had breakfast, some fruit juices, grilled fish, chicken, ceviche, burgers and everything was tasty. The service is nice (special thanks to Adrian!). But remember, it's a soda and not a restaurant. Don't expect anything fancy. However you might get a candle light dinner during a... More
