Our first night in Dominical we had traveled for a total of 12 hours and were very anxious to eat! We decided since Por Que No was in walking distance from where we were staying to go there. When we got to the restaurant the scenery was just breathtaking! We ordered food and shortly after the electricity went out. We... More

This place was right down the road from us, so naturally we had to try it! We went one evening around 8pm, and there were only about 2 parties in the place. We had a nice view of the ocean. PROS: Waitstaff was very friendly. The ocean view is nice. The food was great, especially for the two vegetarians we... More

We ate breakfast at the restaurant. Very good, especially the Tico breakfast. Definitely on the more expensive end of beach dining, but the restaurant experience and food quality is of a different calibur than most of the sodas or even restaurants in the area. Service is more akin to "American" or "European" style. The staff is very friendly and the... More

We wished we didn't wait until almost the end of our trip to discover this place, recommended by the host of our rental property nearby. The breakfast was amazing, especially the spinach and cheese "enyucado," or encased in yucca. Omelets were much larger than the 2-eggs advertised on the menu. Coffee was some of the best we had in Costa... More

We ate here several times and found everything to be of excellent quality with something for everyone on the menu. The pizza is cooked in an outdoor brick oven and is very good! There is also an excellent selection of beer for those of you who like to venture beyond Pilsen and Imperial!

I've been coming to Dominical for four years and had the privilege of living close by to Costa Paraiso and thus PorQueNo for six months. As such I've had the enjoyment of very many meals here. One thing that has always been so special is the location, ambience and overall vibe. It's great to see that the food and service... More

PorQueNo? was our favorite restaurant in Dominical. The views are stunning, the food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. The coconut ceviche was one of our favorite items. We had 4 kids with us and it's often difficult to find a place to please everyone, but this place did just that: pizzas for the less adventuresome,... More

Our brunch was so leisurely we thought our server had forgotten about us several times! Thankfully the view was enough to keep us distracted, and the food was very good. We sat outside overlooking the ocean on a lovely terrace. Prices are very reasonable and menu offers a great variety of very accessible, local dishes.

Thanks for taking the time to fill out a review. We appreciate your kind words and your pura vida attitude when the servers were caught up. As we have reduced staff during the quieter months, there can be times when our servers are caught in the back making drinks/smoothies etc. Hope to see you back in the future! More
