I have been visiting this place for the last couple of months. Food is very tasty with great service. But ambiance is very ordinary.
Not good. Mushy dishes. Doesn't seem very clean. Nice staff, but thumbs down for me. At this place. Will not be returning.
Udupi is one of our favorite places. We meet up here with family and always take friends who are visiting. Vegetarian and vegan Indian food, made the hotness level you request. They are consistent, offer good customer service, and serve large portions. What's not to like?
We request for a special arrangement for a buffet dinner for a group. They charged $8 so the price was reasonable so as the test. Very limited verities. I liked their muttor paneer and gulab jamun but their gobi manchurian was overly shower. Paratha was also nice but they ran out of it. They have a history of negative feedback... More
I have visited this restaurant a few times. I go there only when my colleagues insist on going. I find the food there palatable, but nothing great. Plus this place serves only vegetarian food, which for me is a dampener. With other Indian restaurants in the vicinity, especially Jewel of the Crown, you have a few options. I think with... More
This was our first visit and it was Sunday lunch buffet. The dosa were beautiful, delicious, perfect and unlimited for buffet. We were very pleased with the taste of all the food and the service was friendly. The chai tea was seasoned well and you were able to sweeten to your own taste. The buffet had several choices and was... More
Ok so you know Indian food. What you are not as likely to know is the the cuisine in southern India is quite different. Largely vegetarian and spicy it is very good when done well. This place does it well. Close your eyes and you could be in Kerala. I had the lunch buffet and it was all good. Service... More
Very good vegetarian dishes in a low key dining experience. (Recommended dish: gobi manchurian.) The lack of alcohol service means my in-restaurant visits will be limited; however, I'll be back for some tasty take away. (This was a dinner visit, not lunch buffet.)
This is a great restaurant if you are looking for fresh south Indian food. The weekday buffet is great. Two great dinner choices are Channa Batura or Dosas. The wait staff is attentive and nice. It is a no frills restaurant which is fine by me if the food is good (which it is.)
