This older, local restaurant is not impressive from the outside, but inside it's just what traditional, home grown family restaurants were like back in the day. The menu has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Portions are large and the service is excellent. Prices are moderate. And judging by the crowds when we visited... More

Fantastic breakfast! Hadn't stopped in for a couple of years. Nice to see that the food is still excellent. The 4 of us all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meal. Food comes out fresh and fast. Best breakfast in Tempe.

We stopped in for breakfast on our last morning in Tempe. The French Toast wasn't anything special but the Belgian waffle was good. Eggs and bacon were both good. Service was pretty good as well. I would probably look at some of the other breakfast options in Tempe before returning to Harlow but for a safe breakfast you can't go... More

Good food with a great atmosphere. This place gets really busy with the breakfast and lunch crowd, so plan accordingly.

I ate there this morning with my mother in law. The restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel, doubletree Tempe, and the complimentary shuttle dropped us off with high hopes. There was a wait list and we added our names and waited outside in the beautiful weather we are having today. ( we thought This would be a good sign).... More

We tried this cafe for breakfast for a change from the chain restaurants and I am glad we did. Its only a small place but we found room in the parking lot and were seated quickly on both our visits. We had choices from the normal breakfast menu and enjoyed it both times, including the above mentioned hash browns. It... More

My husband ordered the chorizo burro with home fries. The burrro came with salsa and sour cream. It was plenty filled with chorizo and some egg. Tomatoes onions and lettuce accompanied the churro. Everything mixed together was one hodge lodge mess of goodness. Blueberry pancakes were great. The egg sandwich was a bit bland but I spiced it up with... More

I took my family of 4 today, read reviews and expected a great local find. It was just OK. Expensive, considering the old decor and cramped booth. The food was solid and perfectly prepared. However, not a place we will rush back to, when visiting my child at ASU.

Harlow's has a fabulous menu, lots of choice and some very funny items listed. So you have to read it carefully and no, I'm not going to spoil the surprises - just read the sides list! But even with so many choices, the first time I ate here I ordered 2 poached eggs, bacon and toast. And it was perfection.... More

Looking for a quick basic breakfast on our way to the airport, and passed by this unassuming dumpy little building with a packed parking lot. There's a reason! Great breakfast food, reasonable prices, superb customer service, fun pictures on the wall. Lots of seating, so you won't have to wait long. Signs on the wall say it's been voted Best... More
