A little bit of NY deli. I love the hot pastrami sandwich with a cup of chicken noodle soup. Add a matzo-ball to the soup and you've had a perfect meal. Did I mention the half sour pickles - the best.

This is my new favorite spot to get all the deli items I remember from my childhood: fresh delicious bagels, cream cheese (in many varieties, including low fat versions), cole slaw (the really good kind), lox, other fish, and a huge case full of desserts. Have actually never eaten in the restaurant, though it is usually packed (in a good... More

Without a doubt the best corned beef hash in Az. if not the country.I swear they save the trimmings from the slicer and use them the next day in the hash and it is great. If you leave hungry, you really have an eating disorder.

It seems like they have all the right foods, but it's just not as good as you want it to me. I was happy to see that something like this exists in the valley, but you are better off going to Goldman's deli in Scottsdale or one of the other kosher delis. This one seems to be only a show... More

Chompies is a great place for breakfast or a huge deli sandwich. Their breakfasts are large, creative and yummy! The deli sandwiches and real egg creams make me feel like I am back home in New York. The bakery counter has excellent, fresh breads and a good selection of fresh pastries as well as knishes. Definitely a favorite of mine... More

This place reminds me of some of the delis I frequented in New York, From real water bagels, smoked fish, meatloaf and Black and White cookies, this place is the real deal. Brisket, Corned Beef and Pastrami are all available for enjoyment but, be sure to bring your checkbook because specialty meats and fish are not inexpensive. Chompie's is one... More

Although I live on the East Coast and there are certainly great delis in Philadelphia and New York, Chompie's is my favorite (along with Sam La Grassa's in Boston.) We ordered the combination (corned beef, pastrami, brisket) sandwich and each meat was as good as the others. Love this place!

Compiles has been around forever and the food is always great, nothing there will disappoint you. The bagels are outstanding on their own

We have been regulars at Chompie's in Tempe for several years. It has good variety of egg dishes, with meats and griddle stuff. All are good to excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Bakery goods are very good, though not for dieters. Not as familiar for lunch and dinner.
