Arrived 7:30 pm; closing is 9 pm. Ordered "HOT" pastrami sandwich. Served cold. Sent it back. Still cold. Vacuums running at 8: 20 pm loudly. Had to ask another waiter for our waiter- no one else in restaurant. Clearly deteriorating from previous visits.

OMG!!! Huge sandwiches!!!!! And they are Oh So Good!!! They surely know how to do potatoes: homemade chips (off the menu now) and latkes and fries are all wonderful. Have been many times for breakfast and lunch. Both are great.

Man VS Food had to check out the sliders for myself. They are pretty tasty, had bacon & fruit cup with them. Lots of menu choices for breakfast maybe too many ?? They over cooked my husbands "over easy"eggs & he sent them back only to have 2nd order come out not much better..... Got a choc eclair for car... More

I had never heard of this place and was skeptical but my co-workers who have visited the Phoenix are before assuredly vouched for this place. I was very pleasantly surprised. Their sandwiches were delicious to look at, piled high with pastrami and other meats. I had a chicken salad that was so much to eat that I took half of... More

We love to go to Chompies for breakfast and go there very frequently on the weekends. Expect a bit of a wait at peak brunch times on the weekend, but it is worth the wait! My husband always gets the Dutch Fry--the flavoring used on the potato is really good and makes a very simple dish excellent. The desserts/pastries are... More

Chompies lives up to its reputation but the menu can be overwhelming. Stick to the dishes that have made them famous all over the valley. The Jewish Sliders are among those signature dishes. Composed of thinly sliced tender brisket on a challah roll and piled high with a latke - on the sandwich - and melted Swiss cheese. It's served... More

Believe me this is the closest you'll get in the Phoenix area without spending $450+ to fly to NY. the Decore could be better but the food makes up for it. The rueben pastrami sandwich was good, it had saurkraut, thousand island ( could have used more) and cole slaw on it. Loaded with lots of meat, I had to... More

Has a deli there too that you can take home food. Always have pickles on the table and they go out of their way to make things right

This is a great NY style delicatessen. I have eaten here on 5 occasions over the past 4 years. This NY Deli is delicious. The Jewish Sliders are amazing. I have also had the BBQ Sliders... but the Jewish Sliders are mouth-wateringly delicious. The key is the potato pancake. There is a reason why Man vs. Food did an episode... More

I saw Chompies on a TV show and was thrilled to be visiting Arizona so i could visit one. I was sadly mistake. The menus were sticky and wet. The place itself looks nice on the outside, but dark and outdated in the inside. We asked one of the waitresses (because we had 2, maybe 1 was in training) about... More
