Consistent!

I stopped in at Chompies this morning after a terrible experience not far away. I had never been to this location before, and was pleased to see the sign as I was driving down the street. I knew I wouldn't be hungry any longer. Whatever the case, Chompies has always given me plenty to eat... read more

In a desert of deli's there is a real deli!!! When beggars cannot be choosers, this place will make you smile... There is quit the selection of sandwiches, meats, and great desserts!!! By far cannot be rivaled by any of the wanna be deli's in the grocery stores or chains!

A great Jewish deli, all the classics you'd expect, Potatoe pancakes, Reuben, pastrami, corned beef, sandwiches that require a fork and knife. Plus, a massive selection of baked goods. I had the everything bagel with nova it was good, but there was more garnish than anything else on the plate. Others had omelettes. All the food was good, the baked... More

The bakery and carryout options set it apart from other NY deli's in Phoenix. The matzo ball soup is a mainstay for us during flu season and the fruit tortes are definitely worth the splurge. Go here understanding that you are in a NY style deli in Phoenix and you will not be disappointed.

We have always enjoyed Chompies, and were never disappointed in the food. The service is very good, the ambiance is similar to a Jewish Deli back east. The dinner portions are so large, you can order one to split with a companion. The "Mile High" sandwiches are so packed, we order Half a sandwich with an extra slice of bread. We must... More

Living outside of the US, there are a few food items I MUST have when I come back. Setting foot on US soil, I knew that was a pastrami sandwich and that it HAD to be from Chompies. Chompies again, does not disappoint. The wait staff is so friendly and the sandwiches are DELICIOUS. This is my go to place... More

I am not a fan of Chompies due to their very slow service. There is a huge wait to get your food no matter what. Don't even think about getting out in under 1 and 1/2 hours on a weekend morning. Husband and friends would stop at the Tempe location near ASU and Tempe Town Lake after running and I... More

I have been telling my friend about Chompies for the last six months. I had been there on my last trip to Phoenix. He said that I had not been exaggerating because everything was terrific. The mile high corned beef is the best since I left New York. The potato knish was absolutely delicious. I wish we had a Chompies... More

Casual and family friendly. Menu pages and pages long with everything from eggs/pancakes to sandwhiches, steaks, and deli items. Something for virtually any appetite or preference. Great kids menu, and kids eat free some days.
