I am an east coast Jew who lives on the west coast and LOVES a good Deli. I was visiting my childhood friend in Scottsdale and she took me to this Deli for breakfast. Felt like we were walking back in time as we walked into the Deli with the big fish and deli cases and the bakery. The rugelach... More

This review is re the Chompies in Chandler. First time at a Chompies. We were blown away with the large portions. the food was exceptional quality and taste. Loved the free kosher dill pickles to start the meal. Unfortunately our server was not familiar with the menu, and was clueless about Jewish food. Asked her what a matzo ball was.... More

This is quite an authentic New York Style deli. It is not kosher but the food and the portions were quite good. One can find many Jewish delicacies often only found in the East.

Stopped here for lunch while on vacation in Arizona. Picked this place after seeing on man vs food. Had the sliders and they were wonderful. The onion rings were great as well. Great service. Will be back if ever in the area again.

Recommended by a friend, so we stopped in for lunch after climbing Camelback. Service was great and so was the food. Since they were famous for the hot pastrami, I ordered it and was not dissapointed! My husband had the Jewish sliders and enjoyed those. Definitely a good place to fuel up after an active morning!

We ordered the fitness omelette and wheat pancakes. The pancakes were thick and doughy. The fitness omelette was good but average. The everything bagel was covered on both sides with everything. Nice and crispy. Overall was an average experience.

We went there for lunch and had a very good lunch and the kids loved the minion cupcakes. We would definitely return to eat there again, lots of choices.

With friends, we just had to eat here after seeing the one-man show, My Son the Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy. In Mexican restaurants, they set a dish of tortilla chips on the table. Here, you get kosher dill quarters. YUM! Crisp, garlicky, we ate them all and asked for more. Then, 3 of us got pastrami sandwiches. The other person... More

I live in Mexico, so having this selection of bagels was heaven for me. We ate eat twice -- once for breakfast and once for dinner. Prices are reasonable, and everything was good. Very fast and friendly service. I had a reuben sandwich, and found out what it means to say that portions in the U.S. are too big! There... More

I went several times to this location mostly for breakfast. The food was always good and the service very attentive. They have a very big menu and some of the choices like the different types of smoked fish not easy to be find in other restaurant. They also carry the black rye bread an other item that seldom is offered... More
