The Deli freak in me was TOTALLY sastified

Honestly, when the family suggested this place I was skeptical...My in-laws aren't as hard core about food the way my immediate family is. I love a good deli, and there are so few left in the US. I ordered the triple combo of salami, corned-beef & pastrami w/ slaw on rye. OMG, the heartburn that... read more

We've enjoyed Chompies food and service on our winter visits to Arizona. It's a wonderful deli -- the service is, good, the food is 'authentic deli (tasty and plentiful), and the desserts (you have to see them to appreciate them). Our advice -- GO!

If you've eaten at Katz Deli in NYC, you will feel right at home. I drive from the airport to Chompies for belly love. Then I pick up a pastrami for the plane ride back to Tampa. If the plane crashes, I happy that my last meal was from Chompies. ODER the brisket sliders, I an sure the serve them... More

Stopped in for a nice outdoor lunch in the sun in December. Had pretty good with below average service. Price was far too expensive. Over $100 for 4 people to have lunch is too high!

From the moment I stepped in I was transformed to New York City & waiting to ride the subway, It has an amazing décor. The staff was very friendly & seated us right away, the sweet smell of fresh baked bagels made you want one, We went ahead & had the Egg's benedict & it was amazing. There was so... More

Wow! The name drew me in, starving on the way to airport. Love the u-district food. Great food, fast, stuffed to the gills, I walked away. My waitress, Lindsay, was every bit as efficient as she was pretty!

Had breakfast here several times during a recent stay in Tempe. Always busy but well worth a short wait. Excellent breakfast selection and great service. Would love to return for lunch sometime as the menu looks great. Good family place!

We stopped here for lunch and didn't realize that this place was on man vs food. We all had corn beef sandwiches which were very good. The service was slow but friendly.

but never thought my server, management and the hostess stand would become a rival to the drama I work with, daily. First off, the food is wonderful, it is my second time visiting a Chompies. I purchased some cinnamon rugelach at the deli before we sat for lunch, to take home. Yummy. AND, I highly recommend the food AND service... More

We are from Minnesota and discovered the original Chompies some 10 years ago up on the north side. This was our first time at the Tempe location on a busy Sunday morning. Just off the ASU campus, there is definitely a different atmosphere and patronage in age, but interestingly two of us ordered what we had last summer up at... More
