Compiles has been around forever and the food is always great, nothing there will disappoint you. The bagels are outstanding on their own

We have been regulars at Chompie's in Tempe for several years. It has good variety of egg dishes, with meats and griddle stuff. All are good to excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Bakery goods are very good, though not for dieters. Not as familiar for lunch and dinner.

This is a good place for a sandwich or breakfast. Wonderful baked goods. Used to travel from Chicago and would buy at least 5 loaves of rye bread to take home with me.

took family for lunch. Menu is very extensive, one of us ordered breakfast. Considering how busy this place is the service was pretty good. Sandwiches are piled high with meats, bread is great. and I love pickles, so I had three (come with orders). The place was packed and the noise level was over the top so not a place... More

Good NY style atmosphere and good service, but two star food. The flavor just isn't really there. You'll feel welcomed as a Native New Yorker, but your taste buds won't!

We used to visit this place a lot in the past, today we thought we would go back to an old favorite place for breakfast. The food is still good, but....it's starting to look old and outdated, the dinning room is dirty, the tables, chairs, the window shades all needed to be cleaned, the ceiling had dust and cobwebs and... Arrived 7:30 pm; closing is 9 pm. Ordered "HOT" pastrami sandwich. Served cold. Sent it back. Still cold. Vacuums running at 8: 20 pm loudly. Had to ask another waiter for our waiter- no one else in restaurant. Clearly deteriorating from previous visits.

OMG!!! Huge sandwiches!!!!! And they are Oh So Good!!! They surely know how to do potatoes: homemade chips (off the menu now) and latkes and fries are all wonderful. Have been many times for breakfast and lunch. Both are great.

I had never heard of this place and was skeptical but my co-workers who have visited the Phoenix are before assuredly vouched for this place. I was very pleasantly surprised. Their sandwiches were delicious to look at, piled high with pastrami and other meats. I had a chicken salad that was so much to eat that I took half of... More
