I came twice this week. I love the food and price. I came twice this week with different people. they both loved it. I had the lamb today and it was very good, although a couple of pieces were too done. next time I will ask for medium rare. I always forgo the rice and if the dish calls for... read more

Sometimes the best places are the "tiny hole in the wall" restaurants, in this case combined with a Mediterranean grocery store. We came here for lunch on a Friday. Nothing fancy at all, just good service and good food. I had the Gyro Platter. The serving size was huge all for $8.99 and delicious. There was also an order of... More

The highlight of my visit was finding delicious, high quality Armenian String Cheese in the deli case, in addition to all sorts of interesting and unusual items in the market. I went for a late lunch, and had no problem being seated. Service was good, and the atmosphere was friendly. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate with hummus, tabouli and... More

We have been buying boxes of great dried Black Ceylon Tea from the deli/grocery for years and finally decided to give the busy, small restaurant as part of it a try. Outstanding! Diverse menu of very flavorful sandwiches, combination platters, plates, and side orders will give to just about anything you want in order to sample various mid-eastern food choices... More

At first I was confuse when I pulled up to a a little international market place. Then I realize there was a restaurant inside. The food was excellent, very affordable and tasty. The service was also great and came with smiles and good cheer. The bonus was after I paid, I got to shop and found some great deal on... More

Almost every time I go to Haji Babas I get the Gyro Deluxe pita .... it is LOADED with delicious feta and almost too much of the flavorful shaved meat. some onion, tomatoes & lettuce then a wonderful yogurty tzaziki dressing is drizzled.... I have been frequenting this popular middle eastern restaurant/grocery store for over 12 years and it consistently... More

We started with the hummus and arabic bread (or pita)... the bread has a slightly smokey flavor to it and the hummus was very creamy. Great taste. I had a lamb/beef gyro and my parents both had the lamb shish kabobs. Again, cooked very well and great flavors. This was my first visit, but my parents go often and my... More

Being a son of a Syrian immigrant this was ok. The hummus was ok. The shwarma was average. The garlic sauce was Mayo based, not a fan. Servicers were nice. The coffee was really good. The tabouli was average as well. Baiz Market is by far much better

I stopped there today for lunch it is right off of the freeway, which was great since we were on a road trip and had a long drive from Tucson to Las Vegas. When I lived in Tempe I used to eat there all of the time and for 10 to 15 years I have been craving their food often.... More
