Hadn't been to Riazzi's for awhile, it always is packed. We did go there a few days ago and it was great! The staff is very responsive and they do know the menu. I ordered a spinach lasagna with a salad (with their house Italian) and both were very tasty. I got a large enough portion of the lasagna that... More

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at Riazzi's last night. It's a tradition on many years, and we weren't disappointed. Riazzi's is a cozy, old-fashioned restaurant with comfortable padded booths, and where we sit in the bar, the lighting is dim and Italian music adds to the ambience. We started with the warm, ultra-fresh bread with butter and added the ample... More

My wife and I had dinner here last night... Appetizers were ok, my wife enjoyed her meal but when I ordered the Seafood Diavola everything appeared ok at first. Nicely cooked shrimp and scallops on a bed of spicy marinara sauce. HOWEVER, when I began to dig in the pasta they had hidden half of the muscles under the pasta... More

It was crowded - as usual - but everyone is greeted, seated, and has a drink in-hand in record time! It was fun to watch the servers running between two large parties, yet taking the time to make sure we got our wine, large antipasto, and garlic bread - a peasant's dinner! In the past we have ordered different pasta... More

First time at Riazzi's tonight. Had a celebration for 20 people. Table was ready as promised. I was first to arrive but waiter greeted me quickly and offered to take my drink order. There were already 8-10 parties seated at 5:30 PM -good start. As guests arrived, same good service was offered. Lots of different dishes ordered but I'll stick... More

I always make it a point to eat here when I am in Phoenix. My favorite spot is at the bar. The bartender gives great service, with a smile. The baked Penne, with sausage ground up in the sauce is very delicious. The meatballs are spectacular, and the sauce...what can I say about the sauce? It's what keeps me coming... More

The simple tomato-and-basil pasta dish was fresh and delicious, provided you love lots of garlic. The salad would have been okay, had it not been served in a pool of heavy Italian vinaigrette. Nice atmosphere, good food. Would probably return for casual dining.

Menu is very traditional italian. restaurant is quite dark and decor is old. Food is fine but nothing special. I had eggplant parmiggano which was good however the side was just average. my husband had a half and half with meat sauce and he said was fine however nothing special. Flavors very mild. Service was pleasant. Everything was fine but... More
