Good!

Nice atmosphere and $5 margaritas on Happy Hour. The food is good, but not spectacular. Although the steak tacos were out of this world - so get those!

Reviewed in its entirety, I do not like ZTejas. What self respecting mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa? ZTejas calls it a trio and charges way too much for it. Yes...you can find food here that is tasty. No..their mexican food experience is about as authentic as taco bell. I advise people who ask to do some due dilligence... More

I got the Baja fish tacos, they were not flavorful at all despite having mango salsa. The black beans and rice were not good either. My co worker got the fajitas with minimal chicken, only enough for 2 fajitas. This place maybe good for some but for me coming from Texas this didn't make it for me

We'd never heard of this place before, but it was suggested to us by one of the front desk clerks at our hotel. We tried it out and it was really delicious! The staff is wonderful, they are very friendly and attentive. The only complaint that we had about this restaurant was that it was VERY VERY LOUD. I kind... More

A wide selection of Southwestern items many with a distcint Z'Tejas twist. The chorizo stuffed tenderloin is fabulous but you better be hungry since its quite filling. The stuffed peppers and chili relenos are great as well and the list goes on. My wife makes a meal out of the shrimp with guacamole appetizer.

Went to Z'Tejas for Mother's Day. Got there early, wife had a nice/spicey Bloody Mary, me Jameson. Bartender was a sweetheart, but $21 for two drinks? Seemed a little much. Ordered Fajitas... quick recommendation: don't order Fatijas. Small portion, over cooked, not tasty. Son and his girlfriend had a salad and burrito. $70? Too much for small portions and little... We've been to Z'Tejas in Tempe several times recently as it is convenient to ASU Gammage and you can have a relatively quick, inexpensive dinner before an event. The food is good, as is the service. Our waitresses have always been friendly and efficient. At happy hour they offer several different Margaritas for $5, and the Chambord Marg is fabulous... More

After strolling couple blocks scouting for a place to eat at 9.30 pm on weekday night, we finally settled here. Supposed to be a southwest specialty, although I thought this was mexican, given the name. Anyway, I had salmon with miso sauce, that tasted perfect and healthy with all the veges and brown rice. Even the IPA beer on draft... More

This is my third year of vacationing in Tempe and my third year of Happy Hours at Z'Tejas. The Margaritas are great, but watch out--they don't skimp on the tequila just because it's the happy hour price. The appetizer menu is extensive and everything is at least good and some things (Street Tacos and Tejas Trio) are great. There is... More

Nothing more than basic southern food to fill up. I tasted some pasta with chicken and it was OK. Complimentary corn bread was also quite tasty. Service was ok-ish and quite fast. Good option for the price
