Everything we ordered was very tasty. We sat in the outdoor seating, had the beer-rita. The fresh cornbread was unexpected, and really good.

The restaurant is located at the heart of the Mill Street district, a cosmopolitan area full of shops, restaurants, and walking areas. The wait time was about 40 min, but they sent us a text when our table was ready. This let us walk around the area, not having to waste our time sitting at the restaurant. The drink menu... More

We found this restaurant on OpenTable and decided to give it a try. The place looked pretty new, and had a trendy southwestern look. The menu had some twists on the southwestern style, and we particularly enjoyed the blackened catfish appetizer. We were able to eat outside along the street (a real treat to us north-easterners in January) and the... More

We stopped here for dinner on out last night in the Phoenix area. A friend in the area recommended it, as one of her favorite restaurants. I can now see why! We were seated right away, staff was very efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. The corn bread rocks! Then again, we all were very satisfied with... More

We went on a Saturday night. Had a 10 minute wait. The drinks were good, the food was delicious. the queso, guacamole, salsa trio was a great appetizer. the mushroom enchiladas, mac n cheese, and smothered burrito were all excellent. good prices, good atmosphere, good service. would definitely go back.

The atmosphere was lively on a Thursday night in Tempe, and we had a good time on the patio at Z'Tejas. The food was tasty, especially the combination of flavors in the catfish tacos with asian sauce. The cornbread was good too. They offer valet parking, and there's also a parking garage a block away.

I booked this restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner with my husband. When we got to the restaurant there wasn't anywhere to park so we were gonna pay for valet service but found out it was complimentary. We were seated right away and I asked if we could be moved from a table to a booth which they happily did. Our... More

First time for us. Menu affords many choices but not overly. Went 4 lunch. They start by offering a warm corn bread which was a nice touch. I ordered the Trout salad which was fresh but nothing special. The waitress wasn't all that pleasant but became more so after she announced they literally spilled my significant other's chile releno on... More

I had never been to (or heard of) Z'Tejas but will go again. I was there with a small group for a business dinner. When I asked the bartender for recommendations he suggested the Chorizo-stuffed Pork Tenderloin. This was a very good choice! I expected a portion of whole pork tenderloin but there were three slices of tenderloin. Evidently they... More

I traveled in from the east coast and decided to have Mexican food with business associates. We were not disappointed with Z'Tejas. Menu selection was not very extensive but the choices were very good, and reasonably priced. We sat outside under propane heaters which were more than enough to keep us comfortable - a nice treat in mid-January! The Margarita's... More
