We met up at the Thirsty Lion for a Sunday lunch. Seated quickly and served drinks quickly. We loved the seasonal selections - I had a flavorful mixed drink and others had Oktoberfest beers. I ordered the cheese burger - it was great, just to my order. Others ordered Blue cheese burger & fries, fish tacos for the other. We... More

Food was good, and reasonably priced. Selection was large, and took my wife awhile to decide. Was not very busy when we arrived, but later filled up with patrons. Not too noisy, and I was able to enjoy the conversation with my guests. Service was very good, and our waitress was always checking in on us, but not in an... More

Went for an early dinner, caught a good part of the FAC crowd. It was busy and loud. Had a hard time understanding our server. The food was pretty good, but spoiled a bit by all the noise.

I had a jalapeno burger and fries and it was the best burger - charbroiled, that I can remember having. Sat at the bar with a friend and there was a big storm, lights went out but food still excellent! Will definitely have this again.

We were looking for a pub, not a sports bar, and were happy with what we found. Some classic British pub fare like fish and chips or Scotch eggs is on the menu, but lots more besides, including a good choice of sandwiches and salads. We enjoyed the barbequed shrimp and bacon appetizer and I had the brick oven flatbread... More

This place is popular and crowded. I found it a bit too loud and dark for me but the food and service was very good.

I went there for a soccer party for the the world cup game Germany vs. Ghana. The atmosphere was great, the restaurant filled to capacity. The big viewing screens on both sides of the bar made for optimal viewing of the game. I had lunch there and the chicken sandwich was excellent. However, the service was poor. It took forever... It sounded like a good idea- a pub, beer, and some English/Irish fare. I am not a craft beer drinker, but my mom is. That was the first thing that we noticed. We sat down for a later lunch or early supper. It was noisy in the place, all open seating, nothing to absorb sound. As we were eating, the... More

This was our first time and we loved it! Great service, drinks and food reasonably priced. The atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant was beautiful, clean and was laid out well. The bartender took her time making each drink special. We didn't have to ask for water or refills on soda. Our server was on top of it the whole... More

We each had different burgers and everyone was happy. The Jalapeno burger was the best and their French fries were the best we have had in a long time. The servers were very helpful and were fast and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!
