Fair food, nice atmosphere

The food is your average bar restuarant food. Last time I was there the bartender really skimped on the drinks. I haven't been back since. The food is good enough, the atmosphere is great but with a bad bartender there are better choices out there.

Been here a couple of times. The food is average bar fare with a kick for the Irish. They have live music on the weekends which can get loud, but in all fairness they have a beautiful outside patio for your escape. Would go again to hang out with friends, but would not recommend for a family outing.

This is one of our old favs in Surprise. My choice for our date and a great choice! I had the prime rib special, every Saturday night $16.99. Heavenly meat, largest hunk of beef I've had in years. Tender with perfect creamy horseradish. My husband had the corned beef and cabbage plate. Also heavenly. We almost licked our plates clean.... More

The best Irish pub we've found in the Valley and by far the best fish and chips in any restaurant. Also tried the Irish stew with a terrific mix of lamb shank and vegetables. It's a 60-mile drive from our home in Mesa, but well worth it.

Irish Wolfhound Pub and Restaurant was our dining location for tonight. It is typical Irish Pub décor and menu with burgers and fried added. It was casual, not too noisy. I had a conversation with my wife with no trouble. There a number of TVs but not too obtrusive. As a general rule I do not like TVs in restaurant's,... More

Great food with a pleasant atmosphere. Three of us had corned beef with cabbage, soup, shepherds pie, and fish and chips from the lunch menu. We agreed that the food was tasty, nicely prepared and served very warm. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Nothing was over-salted. The pub was busy and service was good. Portions were not outrageously large, but... More

Sports bar, pub food and service all fantastic. Had fish and chips that was huge and the sirloin burger was bigger than what you could hold with one hand. Taste was great on both. Oh, don't forget to order the BREAD PUDDING, this will put you under the table...so gooood Live music that was truly enjoyable.

Pleasant atmosphere and simple menu with lots of comfort food. We had the deep fried cod sandwich, a side of bangers, Seafood chowder and shepard's pie. All were hot when served, not over seasoned and tasted freshly made. Excellent service, this is a place for adults and older crowd.

We have had multiple trips to the Wolfhound. Every experience has been top notch. We have ordered many items from the menu. As silly as it sounds my favorite is the chicken salad. I've never had one so tasty. The beer selection is superb. The entertainment is always excellent. They have different performers different nights. Our favorite is an Irish... More

We spotted the Irish Wolfhound Pub as we arrived in Surprise and dropped in for lunch. What luck! The decor is the Irish pub concept, dark wood and welcoming. The menu had a wide variety of choices, plus many draft beer selections, including Guinness and Harp. We had fish and chips which were very tasty. We returned the next evening... More
