Have eaten many times here and never had a meal that I didn't like. The Fish and Chips and fried Shrimp Basket, I would think, are hand battered at the restaurant and not taken from a prepared bag. In other words not COSTCO, which is admirable for a Surprise restaurant. I don't eat lamb, but the... read more

The Wolfhound is a great place to have a meal or a snack and of course a pint of ale. Very friendly atmosphere.

I think they are pouring regular Jameson instead. Had a shot of middleton the another 3 days later it was totally different a tasted like regular Jameson the 2nd time. I drink a lot of Irish whiskey this was defiantly off. Otherwise food and service were good.

The music inside was deafening and we had 2 small children with us so we sat outside on the patio, This would have been ideal except for the smokers all around us - even the kids complained about it. Service was fast and efficient but the skimpy attire on our waitress evoked a comment from out 10 year old. I... More

Friday night is all you can eat fish, chips, and coleslaw. The deep fried cod is tender, flaky, and delicious. The server continued to bring us additional plates of fish until I almost burst. The fries and coleslaw are very good. If you like great Irish beer on tap then you have come to the right place. The Irish Wolfhound... More

We have been going to this establishment since it opened a few years ago. From day one the service and food have been excellent. Of course my favorite is their Irish Stew and a glass or two of Smithwick's. On occasion they also have irish themed entertainment. Place is always busy and always friendly. And, one of the few Irish... More

Back at the Wolfhound with others on 4/23 for dinner and drinks. We ordered everything from fish fry, to greek steak salad, to sliders, to fried shrimp. All was excellent. Impressive was that we asked fror a number of inidividualized seasonings and other things The kitchen got everyone right. Group had a number of glasses of beer. Not one of... More
