Great friendly place

Wonderful little place tucked back on Wilcox Dr near the fort. Love all the sweets they offer. Huge fan of the Chicken Cranberry salad sandwich ... YUMMY! I recommend to anyone, anytime. A must try place in Sierra Vista.

They have chocolate croissants that taste like the ones I ate growing up. My mom was a baker and I have looked tirelessly for a chocolate croissant with the same texture and flakiness. They have it at the Breadbasket. It is a great place to take friends and family who may be visiting.

I frequently stop in for coffee, a pastry or a dozen or two TO-GO. This gem of a restaurant is a little hard to find, but always busy and creating fresh baked goods and healthy lunches. I love their pretzel rolls the most, but also frequently purchase a variety of pastries for friends/family to share.

The Breadbasket has been one of my favorite restaurants for the past decade or so....as it is also one of the faves of the soldiers on Fort Huachuca. Often -- once a month or so --- I order the gulaschsuppe to-go for my husband and me to enjoy for dinner. Gulaschsuppe is an every Friday lunch item and it quickly... More

Whenever we go to Sierra Vista (which has been once a month for the past five months), we always make sure we eat at least one lunch at the Breadbasket. The meals are very good; and the desserts are exceptional. Last time we had a pineapple strudel stick. It was scrumptious! We will be back!

Most savory avocado chicken salad this side of the Grand Canyon. Their traditional German fare is lovely, too, but that salad is the one that's kept my craving for the last five years. I don't visit as often as I'd like, but it remains one of my favorite spots for quick cozy lunches with my husband. Oh, and the pastries?... More

The Bread Basket's German luncheon food and bakery items are exceptional. Their holiday bakery items remind me of how important tradition is. Year-round, the smell of a REAL bakery feeds my soul.

We went to the Breadbasket for lunch today. Good sampling of German food; but did not have sweet/sour red sauerkraut. I did have Jaeger Schnitzel which was very good. My significant other had the soup and sandwich and brought 1/2 the sandwich home. Just passing through but if we are in the area again, we will stop in.

The food was indeed good, tho certainly not amazing. My chicken salad (with cranberries & pecans on greens with mandarins) was delicious, but I wished for more of the chicken; there was only a big spoonful on the greens. My husband's schnitzel was also good, tho he wished for a bit more spices. The roll was basic, tasteless white flour.... More

My favorite thing to buy is pastries--excellent coconut macaroons ,big, light, and moist. They sell apple strudel, pretzel rolls, bread and a multitude of other choices. I have eaten lunch there and enjoyed it very much.
