This is the best Mexican Restaurant in town, but it is average at best. The service was fair, but at one point the second drink sat on the bar, while the wait ignored it. We finally flagged down another wait, and finally got our drink.

We had a group dinner there. I am spoiled, living in San Diego with its outstanding Mexican food, and the incredible number of choices. I was very pleasantly surprised at La Casita; the food was as good as San Diego, and the service was excellent. Their banquet facility is private, and proved a great place for a nice relaxing social.

After eating Mexican food in Tucson and Green Valley that was generally below par (tasteless enchiladas with greasy cheese and fish tacos that had small pieces of fish covered in lots of bread and deep fried...) my friends and I (8 total) were all VERY pleased with our dinners at La Casita. All agreed that the food was tasty and... More

It was within walking distance of where I was staying; however, the youthful staff at the front desk needs some re-training, especially on how to treat customers who order by phone. I put up with it about three times but then preferred to eat at the Jack-in-the box down the street. The staff at Jack was efficient, accommodating and courteous.

La Casita has gotten better over the last few years - but it is only average at best. It's amazing that we're so close to the border but have no really good Mexican restaurants. The food here was better under the previous owners but that was decades ago...

The staff was very friendly and the service was great. The food was average, about what we expected. The tacos were a little greasy, but the enchiladas and chile rellenos were good. Overall we enjoyed our dinner here and would eat here again.

We went in for taco Tuesday to enjoy some $1 tacos. But for just two people our bill still came out to $45 after having about 4 tacos each and an appetizer. Our sodas were around $7. Don't get me wrong, the food was good but for $1 tacos they sure found a way to charge you for a 5... More

The hotel we were staying at recommended La Casita. Their recommendation was a great choice.. The service was top notch and the food was some of the best Mexican we have ever has. The portions were generous and were served piping hot. The wait staff was very attentive to all our requests and the value of the food was very... More

Food quality was poor at best, had no flavor even adding their hottest hot sauce. Even the refried beans were tasteless. As for the quantity of the food my order of green chilies burp was mostly tortia had Yardley any filling. For a group of four just a small bowl of chips. The prices did not reflect in the quality or... More

The food was very good. However, when we first went in they put us in the room with three groups. It was extremely noisy. Although the food was good - the noise was a bit too much.
