Korean BBQ is not at all like other BBQ. It is soy based, with spices and herbs that make it really tasty. You can get the BBQ sauce served over fish, pork, beef, or just about anything here. We liked it so much that we got a quart jar to go. The owner/chef was very friendly.

My wife and I have eaten at Kim Ba Woo's restaurant on several occasions. They offer a large selection of excellent Korean dishes. You are able to ask for spicier versions of any meal if you desire. Most of the tourists and customers in general prefer the less spicy food, so it is prepared that way unless you ask for... More

The Korean owner and authentic dishes make this a pleasant dining experience. The food was very tasty, and well presented. The owner made us feel welcome. Modestly priced, simple cafe styling, and good food make this a pleasant experience. A great alternative to the big chain restaurants.

We had beef Bulgogi at this small place in Sierra Vista, not far from Fort Huachuca. Korean restaurants here because GI's brought Korean wives back with them. Their kimchee was unusual and wonderful to the taste. Went very well with their Korean beer (two selections). Daily specials very reasonable priced. Korean cook & server provide authenticity.

The food is alright. The owner is really nice. I prefer Bunbuku as far as food quality goes. The waitress is really nice and there's never a crowd.

Thanks for being so kind to me when I was a stranger in town and all of the great meals from 1994 to the present. Wish you all the best all the time. I will never forget the meal Mrs. Chang served in Sept. 2001 with tears in her eyes.

This place is simply delicious. The chicken bulgogi is amazing. I always get it with extra spice. The veggies they serve before your meal are fantastic. I have eaten there numerous times and they never disappoint. If you get the beef, you have to tell them if you want it spicey.

The service at Kim Ba-Woos was fairly quick and attentive. The menu was fairly extensive and although a tad pricey, not too bad. I had the beef bulgogi and tried a few other dishes, and while the food was very good and the portions ample, I have to agree with another reviewer that it was lacking the garlic and spice... More

We were in Sierra Vista for only a short time, but ate at Kim Ba-Woos for lunch one day and it was the best Korean food I had eaten since being in Korea several years ago. Several lunch specials were posted for great prices. The beef bulgogi had an excellent taste and was fresh, cooked when we ordered, and the... More

I'm not Korean but I've been known to make a mean bi bim bap and my own kimchee. I'm sorry, but this place doesn't cut it for Korean. It lacks the classic strong flavors of garlic and chilis that Korean food is known for. The sides (banchan) were pretty good as was the kim bap, but the main courses leave... More
