I said before that they would pay attention to allergies as told by a past president by the German Club here in Sierra Vista....we meet him in the cancer room under going treatment as was my husband...So this time when I asked what they had that was gluten free they were really rude and stomped away...We did leave and will... I was somewhat shocked when I saw this rated #1 restaurant in Sierra vista. Didn't know that many people knew about this amazing place. The food is incredible and the service is great. I try something new every time I go and am never disappointed. Take the family or a date and you won't be disappointed either.

Had dinner June 24th. The place can be a little bit hard to find if you don't know Sierra Vista (like we were) but once you find it you will not be disappointed. The place is small but for a Tuesday evening there was a good number of customers there. I had the Ruben and my wife had the German... More

My husband and I come here as often as we can because the food is VERY GOOD. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious. The price is higher than we'd like but we really enjoy this little place.

Some of us love German Food and to find it when you live only 40 miles from the boarder with Mexico is nigh impossible. That is not the case if you drive 1½ hours from Green Valley. This little restaurant is in a strip mall and is quite small. Pretty typical strip mall restaurant, but the exception is the food... More

Hubby & I took a day to travel to Sierra Vista mainly to have dinner at the German Cafe. True, the place isn't fancy, but as is normally the case, you can anticipate GREAT German food! We arrived at 5pm,and it was fairly busy ( in my book, a sign of good food!),yet service was very good. This was our 3rd... More

Décor is rather tacky--the bowl of flowers in the window had a price tag on it! Oil cloth tablecloths and no curtains on the windows. I asked if they had a German wine and was offered white zinfandel. Service was slow and my snitzel sandwich was very tough and served on a small stale bun. No German mustard anywhere to... More

We had lunch here and loved the schnitzel, potato pancakes, warm potato salad and the french onion soup. We didn't get any dessert- too full!! Next time we will split a few main dishes and then try dessert. This is a small, dated restaurant, with some fun kitschy German stuff here and there- service was a little slow, and they... More
