Small and popular

This place is tiny so get there early because it fills up fast. We had lunch and while I thoroughly enjoyed by goulasch and side salad, my hubby was grumbling that his schnitzel sandwich was dry, and when he asked for mayonnaise he received a scant teaspoon in a little cup. This is a very small restaurant 8 to 10 tables maybe. Our waiter seemed clueless. I ordered, he came back and said they were out, I ordered again, same thing, they were out. It was ridiculous. He kept forgetting to bring us things, more ice tea for example. They had maybe six tables busy, not slammed, we were early in... More

Very small quant place to visit. I prefer other German places in town to this one. It's still a local place so we will eat here and support a local business

Okay, I've never actually been to Germany, but I imagine the food there couldn't be any better than the German Cafe. Their potato salad will cause cravings after you first taste it. The schnitzel is wonderful. Don't forget to wash it all down with a fine German beer. Skip dessert and spend your money and calories on the entrees and... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this in SV. Looked for a 'local' restaurant and chose this. Very authentic food and good service. Didn't try the desserts but food was really quite good.

Was returning from Nogales and decided to take the trip to Sierra Vista to try out this German Restaurant. Was well worth the time to sample lunch at this tiny restaurant. Ordered the JagerSchnitzel. Came with a nice gravy, coleslaw, and warm potato salad. Everything tasted great. Even their coffee was nice. Highly recommend this place. There are no German... More

After living in Germany for six years, I have been looking for a restaurant that really knows how to make genuine German foods. we found a few good ones over the years, but The German Cafe outshines them all.
