Authentic German Food - Satisfying!

Small restaurant in Sierra Vista - somewhat hard to find - but well worth the effort. Friendly staff. Great food. Like my Grandmother made - home cooked and freshly prepared with authentic German style.

The snitzel is delicious, but DO NOT FORGET the Red Cabbage! It is fantastic! No it's not cheap, but the portions are good and the taste will be memorable. They sometime have a pretzel rolls that I really love!

Tucson has such a diverse cosmos of cuisine it's almost staggering: Jamaican, Italian, Japanese, Puerto Rican, Polish, Mongolian, Middle Eastern--you name it and you could find a place to fill your exotic cravings. My mind is so BLOWN right now that there is not a single, solitary, German food place. Not a one. It should be illegal is what it... More

Great small local restaurant with good German food. Friendly staff and great decor on the walls. Soups are outstanding. Great slaw and potato salad.

We were quite surprised to find a German restaurant in Sierra Vista, so had to try it out. The food is excellent, we had a bratwurst burger and schnitzel. I especially liked the authentic German potato salad and slaw. The cafe is small - we could hear the staff speaking German outside the kitchen. Definitely a great place to eat.

I lived in Germany for ten years and this is the closest thing to a German Gasthaus that I've experienced back here in the world. If you want authentic Schnitzel, Bratwurst, German potato salad, or red cabbage this is the place to go in Sierra Vista. The next best thing to being stationed in Heidelberg. . . .

The restaurant offers typical German food - wholesome and excellent quality. The menu has a large selection of dishes, but a limited desert selection. Location is easy to find, on a street east of the Hwy 92, running parallel to Hwy 92.

The food and service were amazing. Not many tables so a reservation would be suggested. Very small with personal service, we had a party of 4, every entree was amazing. If you are visiting the area you must give this place a try, worth a drive as well. So glad I finally stumbled on this place, Sierra Vista is full... More

Go early to get a seat; cafe shares building & parking lot (all small) with a bar. It's tough to find them down a side street on the south end of town, off highway 92. We went for dinner, & found the menu dominated by schnitzel options...all very German. Since Sierra Vista has long been an Army town, finding authentic... More

Excellent food, home-made JUST LIKE IN GERMANY. Good service, pleasing atmosphere that is authentic. Potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce, a Reuben sandwich with creamed horseradish, warm potato salad and real cole slaw, several schnitzels on the menu and tasty German beer. It was great! Then came the slippery slope that made the place absolutely forgettable... I didn't mind... More
