Excellent German food

Excellent German food, not much atmosphere, small and somewhat crowded. Affordable. Limited menu. Have been twice for lunch. Will go for dinner, larger menu.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a few years but wasn't sure if I would enjoy the German cuisine. As it turns out, I like schnitzel, especially at this restaurant. The potato salad was the best I have ever had. The sauerkraut was OK. The German chocolate cake was delicious. I plan to bring my family to... More

The food is to good for the building. But...I have found it to be true for other restaurants. Nice friendly service.

I've been wanting to come here for a long time and was really let down. First of all, it's next to a really dicey looking bar. Getting past that and entering the venue, it is tiny. I mean, maybe 20 seats in a hallway tiny. And the tables? Plastic, mismatched tablecloths on rocking tables. Service was quick and efficient. I... More

My husband was in hog heaven, with a BOGO on the schnitzel, but as a non-meat eater, my only option was the spatzel. I have eaten this dish before in southern Germany, and wasn't a huge fan of it even then. This was a bit overly rich and savory, and I got bored of it after about 3 bites. My... More

Food was good. Everyone chose something different so we tried several items. My chicken schnitzel was a little thin and tough. My son-in-law ordered the jaeger schnitzel and said it was very good. The German potato salad and red cabbage was very good.

I had very high hopes based on some of the other trip advisor reviews, especially since in my current area German food is a rarity. I tried l stopping in one night and they were full (which i read as a good sign). The next night there was only 1 family seated. I was greater by a gentleman behind the... More

The food is good here, but heavy fare for a regular lunch spot. I had a jaegerschnitzel, which was delicious, but if I'd needed to go back to work would have been too much. I had been there previously and had the rouladen, which also was very good.
