The restaurant is located in the Tlaquepaque Village which is an interesting place to browse around in on its own. We are generally not big fans of Mexican food for some unknown reason (spices?), but the couple we were with wanted to go here. I must say, we were very pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We all shared... More

We travel with our border collie and it goes without saying that in AZ one cannot leave a dog in the car. We look for outdoor cafe's or restaurants with outdoor seating that allow dogs. This place is in the Village with lots of shops and places to sit and people watch. It has an outdoor patio with a half... More

I got the veggie tostada, which was just a smear of beans over a blue corn tortilla, with what tasted like canned salsa that had been left in the can and refrigerated. this was about an appetizer size plate, or 5 bites. They do not have any dishes with eggs so no huevos rancheros, and no pork items just to... More

I will have to agree with some of the other reviews on the issue of the service that was less than superb, but the food makes up for it. What I experienced was some of the best Latin food I've had in years, if ever. After getting seated I ordered the chimichanga (house specialty) with a side of red and... More

Food was excellent. We ate at 3 southwest restaurants during our vacation and this was the best by far. One of the 3 had long waits and was not worth it. This one will not disappoint. I had enchilada and blue corn chile relleno.

My husband and I live in Sedona and have eaten at El Rincon a few times. On April 18th we ordered the exact same meal. We both had food poisoning and were sick for four days. My husband called the manager to let him know we both got sick. Of course they denied any wrongdoing. The only other food we... More

The only good thing about this place, was the friendly hostess, the sweet patio and the location. Otherwise, we had a terrible experience. Our waiter was terrible, and looked and acted so mad and annoyed. I asked for water with no ice (like I do everywhere I go because I have sensitive teeth and cold water hurts the nerves) and... After only 15 minutes the host a tall girl with a cute flower bun sat us and answered a few questions and then went back to hosting. We waited five minutes and no waited had... More
