First the location is terrific if you are staying near Tlaquepaque. The food was pretty decent, not what I would call authentic Mexican. I had a Burrito which had a bit too much flour taco wrapping which took away from the flavor. My sister had fish tacos and again, fresh but a little light on... read more

I've been here twice in the last 6mths. The Prickly Pear Margaritas are great although somewhat pricey. On the last visit, I ordered chicken fajitas. They came out on a plate in a blob. I've never seen that before. Fajitas always come out sizzling on a hot iron skillet - not here. They were pretty greasy and not hot. Disappointing.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends and I can see why! The location of this restaurant is great! It is in a beautiful little shopping area with boutiques and galeries and it is quiet, it is not close to the street but in a pedestrian area. What I really loved is that our loyal four legged friend was... More

This was a return visit and I am reviewing again, but I have eaten there many times since my original visit. El Rincon is in a popular tourist area close to Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona. I would not consider it per se a Mexican restaurant. Certainly the menu has much more than the usual trite combo plates. I would... More

We had dinner on the patio under the trees on a nice evening. The setting was cozy and very pleasant. We sat right down with our reservation. Updside, margarita (very tasty) and the chile relleno. Rest of the food was respectable. Downside, the service was a bit slow. We lingered with a couple of drinks and then wandered around the... More

We were just browsing the tourist brochure and came across this one. The shopping complex was not very easy to find when it's dark and you're not familiar with the location. The restaurant has a very charming atmosphere and we were seated and get served almost immediately despite the restaurant being almost full. The sangria was so good that we... More

Mediocre at best...really was in the mood for some good Mexican food and was a little disappointed. When and if I go back to Sedona I will not be going back there, unless to sit outside on their cute patio

We enjoyed this place a lot. The guacamole is good and the rolled chicken appetizer was excellent. The specialty is their chimichangas and they were top notch. They look more like a empanada and the sauce was very good too. We also got one of their Mexican pizzas which was a great surprise and a lot to eat. Excellent service... More
