Great Food, No Wait

I was a little worried about stopping here when some of the reviews mentioned a long wait, but we had no problems getting seated upon arrival. It may have helped it was a snowy day in Sedona. It is a small restaurant with about a dozen indoor tables and 10 patio tables. Patio was closed due to the... read more

This place wasn't amazing in the sense of being anything extremely different from the next Mexican restaurant but the food was good and moderately priced.

My chicken chimichanga had a lot of large gristle chunks in it. The chips were stale and the salsa was boring. Not worth the calories.

El Rincon is a Sedona staple. Great owner, great service and the best guacamole in the known Universe! You'll love the outdoor seating year-round. This restaurant is in Telaquepaque shopping area and is a tourist favorite, but occasionally, there's a table left for long-time local customers.

We have been here twice and it has been good both times. They have a great selection and choices of menu items. The wait for our food did not take long at all. I was really surprised. It's a little pricey, combination platters range 16.00 to 20.00 but then again you are in tourist area. The staff was very friendly.

We went here for Valentine's Day, and although the atmosphere was nice, the food was not. I had the enchilada and the taco combination. The enchilada was ok, but the taco consisted of a store-bought shell! For a dish that cost around $20, I would've expected better quality. Also when the waiter asked if I wanted salsa in the taco,... When in Sedona eat here. Have the tamale, the best ever. Great Mexican food hidden in a shopping center--"Tlaquepaque Village". Sort of hard to find but good parking and great food. We keep going back.

went there for supper today. They brought out the nachos and salsa as we sat down. asked the waitress if there was cilantro in the salsa and she confirmed that there was. Checked to see if there was any sauce that did not contain cilantro but unfortunately they did so she offered me a bowl of guacamole instead. Another waitress... More

This rating is really a 2.5. There was nothing spectacularly wrong with this place...but there was absolutely nothing that made it stand out, either. The service was decent, the seating on the patio was pleasant, and the vegetarian burritos and enchiladas that we ordered for lunch were totally unremarkable. This might be a good place to visit if you've got... More
