Very Nice Evening

Had a lovely meal. Steak done just right! Good menu and I should have been more adventurous and tried the rattlesnake cakes and cactus fries - maybe next time!

Cowboy style restaurant with surprisingly good food and service. Good value, quiet enough so a conversation is possible something rate these days.

Yummy giant hamburgers!!! :) Chicken burger was good, too. Order the sweet potato fries. Those were amazing!!! :) Lemonade and ice tea was so refreshing. Just what we needed after an off-roading adventure. Laid-back, fun atmosphere. Reminded me of a Texas saloon, except everyone actually seemed to be having a good time. :) Would give it five stars, but our... More

I love traditional beef dishes - sirloins, filets, ribs, burgers - so I was not too sure about buffalo and elk. What a shock I had! The buffalo filet (medium rare) was juicy and melt-in-your-mouth tender, and not at all "gamey". The elk chops were smaller than expected, but cooked (also medium rare) with a barbeque sauce that complimented. They... More

So this looks very Ktichy on the outside. If you dine in the Silver Saddle, you are in for a real treat. My elk chops were delicious. The bison tenderloin was also very flavorful. IN fact there was nothing we didn't enjoy. This restaurant is one of the few places on the main street I think is worth the stop.... More

This was the only restaurant open past 8:00pm. It was open until 9:00. We opted for the dining room since our party of four wanted a relaxed atmosphere. The waiter was enthusiastic but not good at follow up on requests. He tried the up-sell on items and the wine and liquor list but we just weren't interested. After that he... More

Good food, but disappointing service. Waited quite a while for an intial greeting from our waiter, after being seated at the table. My son ordered elk chops and the plate was delivered with no steak knife, so we shared my knife. Small table so plates and trash were piling up on our table. The girl who brought us our water... I shared the appetizer sampler: cactus fries with prickly pear dipping sauce; bison skewers with peanut sauce; rattlesnake sausage with adobo sauce and crispy cilantro flatbread. Everything was tasty, tender and delicious. A cup of delicious, creamy asparagus soup accompanied the sampler. Wonderful experience.

We started off with the cactus fries and they were quite delicious. We don't recall eating nopal cactus before and the prickly pear dipping sauce was a perfect combination. The seating in the Silver Saddle room provides booths around the walls and a few tables in the center. The booths are cozy and intimate, but it's slightly awkward looking across... More

It's a fun place to eat ava the service was great. Read the billboard outside with some interesting history before dining and enjoy the atmosphere even more after that. The buffalo pot roast was WAY too salty, as if it was soaked in brine. The chili was terrific. Ribs were average to good, but caked with too much bbq sauce.... More
