Lovely Restaurant...Great Food

We dined here during a long weekend in Sedona. The restaurant is refined and relatively quiet save for a guitarist playing lovely, unobtrusive music in the background. My wife and I found this beautiful restaurant years ago while vacationing in Sedona, Az. Since then, "Cucina" is our favorite restaurant for enjoying a dining experience. We have traveled to Sedona, from California, for many vacations and dine at "our restaurant" each and every time. Margaret and I have been married for 48 years and have dined out at... More

This is a stunningly beautiful restaurant with a lovely outdoor patio. It was recommended to us by the owners of our B&B. We made reservations in advance several days prior and our inn keepers presented us with a discount card at check in which was nice but I know this can be a gamble and how the game is played.... Cucina Rustica is a wonderful restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. Staff is professional and friendly! Menu selection is varied and creative with reasonable prices! My husband enjoyed a local beer! Key Lime Pie for dessert rivaled the pie in Key West! If it is not on the menu they will create it for you! Our server, Amy extended far and... More

We recently dined at Cucina Rustica on a weekend Getaway to Sedona. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful, perfect for a romantic evening out. The service was also wonderful! We had an amazing waitress who described the food so beautifully everything sounded wonderful. Unfortunately where this restaurant falls some what short is the food. It really was just average italian... More

Terrific food, ambiance and service: what more do you need? We were withing walking distance of Cucina Rustica and made it our "go to" dining in the evening. Loved the layout: several different rooms in which to be seated. Wonderful guitarist on weekends. Portions are large enough to split for light eaters. We ordered the calamari (best we've had anywhere!)... More

First this place manages their patrons. Clearly they have their favorites. So if it's your first visit don't expect a special table or treatment. Second, and this is sad, the pasta was grossly overcooked and sat like a glob on the plate. When we enquired about it we were told to just twirl it around until it separated. We chose... More

The ambience was great especially for a romantic dinner. The wait staff did well despite the Valentine's Day crowd except the bar...could not order a drink before dinner as they were unattentive. The food was disappointing especially after the build up the concierge gave such a glowing recommendation. Although the sauce was excellent, my pasta was over cooked and clumped... More
