I was seated in the outside dining area. I looked at the menu, had decided what I was going to order and waited, and waited, and waited. Not one person said a word to me or acknowledged that I was sitting there. There were three servers standing around talking to each other totally engrossed in their conversation - obviously not... We stopped here for dinner on our way from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix. Of course every meal is enhanced when preceded by starvation. We sat at the side patio which gave us a nice view of the red rock hills and it was a pleasant place. Excellent service for such a touristy place. Between the three of us, we... More

the cantina has decent Mexican food. The guacamole fresco is very tasty. The salsa is really good. According to the waiter, you can get the recipe if you provide your email address.

We had dinner at Taos Cantina.....what great food with very large portions. Located in the same parking lot as our hotel. Breakfast in our hotel was also in the Cantina. They also did a great job on the included breakfast, with a rear entrance for the hotel to come in without getting packed or dressed up. The wait staff were... More

Pretty tourist driven place on the main drag. Has out door seating with a world class view. The Mexican food was good, service was good and a good assortment of beer. Decent place if you need refuelling.

Just took a chance on this place and was very disappointed, overpriced food, expensive drinks, and generally poor fare all round, luckily for them they are in a good location because really it would not survive if they were off the beaten track.

The food was good, but not great. It was definitely overpriced, but after a long day we were just really hungry and having a hard time deciding what to get. Service was spotty. It started out good, but after the food came we didn't see our server until it was time for the check. My husband and I would have... More
