We had the best ice cream - two giant scoops in a waffle cone - at the Black Cow Café. Great service, and generous portions. We had trouble eating it all (but we did it!). The cone was fresh, and the ice cream was rich in flavour. It was a great place to try the prickly pear flavour, local to... More

Had a Hot Dog and some Ice Cream. Both were great and the service was very nice even though crowded June day.

Right in the heart of downtown Sedona, across from the Pink Jeep tours, sits this cafe. We only went for ice cream, later at night, when the town is quiet. A moderate selection, but very good. Service was warm and friendly. They had fresh baked cookies, pies and other treats, so they gladly made an enormous ice cream sandwich for... More

We stopped here because the sign out front gave us the impression it was a sandwich shop that serves ice cream. It is more like an ice cream shop that serves sandwiches. I had the roast beef and my wife had the turkey, both on rye. The sandwiches were hand made to order and very fresh. Plenty of meat was... More

Very good ice cream when in Sedona. Family friendly. The scent of the freshly made waffle cones is the best! Very good service, also.

One of the things we always do on vacation is try to find a homemade ice cream shop to where ever we go to try out. So for Sedona it was not different. We each had a different flavor from Prickly Pear to Oreo Cookie. My daughter thought the Oreo cookie was ok but they were not impressed. I had... More

Black Cow Cafe might have food but the choice is Ice Cream. And boy was it good. I can't remember the exact count of flavors but they are all made fresh daily. I believe Black Cow pipes the fresh smell of waffle cones outside, which is smart on their part, but I do know there was a woman behind the... More

We had great service and delicious ice cream. The young men working were polite and answered all our questions.
