My friend and I went to this restaurant for dessert one night (it was the only one we could find open after 9pm!). We had an excellent dessert. The next day we went there for lunch. The food was excellent, the service (both times) was superb and the view was wonderful. If I lived there, I'd go back often!

This restaurant was a delightful get away under the old ownership. It was 2 levels and the top level was set up as a bar and was very dark and old fashioned. If you sat out on the deck below, you had a great view of the Oak Creek area. The new owners have taken it up a notch. The... More

Italian style meatloaf was delicious...enjoyed the meal. Sitting under the covered porch with the views of the mountains made for a pleasant evening!

The Hideaway offers an Italian flair. The salads are not to be missed nor the cristinis1 We had the pesto chicken pasta and the lasagna and both were very good. Give it a try if in the area.

I was excited that the hideaway reopened. I guess there is a new landlord so the rent went up. They redid the restaurant and the view is incredible and the place looks better. however I ordered a $14 personal margarita pizza that was bland. It was served on a big plate but wasn't bigger or as good as a piece... More

The Hideaway was the first place I ate when moving to Sedona in 1993, and was great then. It closed, and reopened this year with new owners and a new menu that honors the previous one, but with a lot of updated and interesting offerings. The much needed to be redone decor is great, the staff very welcoming and friendly.... More

Was misinformed, and went thinking there would be a vegan menu, there's not, but the veggie pizza sufficed. My sandwich was just okay, thought it would have been higher end at the price. I don't mind paying high prices when the meal is above normal, but our meals were not above normal. Not really sure who our waiter was as... More

We picked this place for dinner as my son wanted Italian food. Menu looked like there were a lot of choices that were reasonably priced. When we got there we found the exact opposite. Great atmosphere and awesome views, but the menu had limited Italian food and the prices were fairly high. My son ended up getting a burger. I... More

after being closed for sometime, a new owner has spent considerable money renovating a longtime sedona landmark with good results. the interior is very attractive but the real selling points are the two outside patios fronting on sycamore-lined oak creek. after sunset, even on the hottest day, these venues are delightfully cool. onto the food, however: the menu is creative... Probably the most customer service oriented restaurant I have ever been to with everyone from the owners, to all the wait staff that pass by talking to you with genuine interest and helpfulness. With a club sandwich to die for, and spaghetti and meatballs that were amazing, they were only matched by the majesty of the view of the Sedona... More
