We have been coming to Sedona for 20 yrs, and this was always one of our favorite restaurants. The food was consistently great and reasonably priced. From the owners comments on the website it is obvious that he not only appreciated his clients, but greatly loved his longtime devoted staff. We hope that hideway can re-open to serve (once again)... This was one of our favorite place to eat while we visit Sedona. It was very disappointed to found out they were closed while we were there Dec 22, 2013. I missed my salad, Cheese Garlic bread, and the pizza.... Please let us know if you find new place to open your restaurant again. Good luck to you and rest... More

My family and I have shared a lot of great meals and memories at what was a reliable, tasty, and inexpensive restaurant over the years. Wow, what a bummer.

The Hideaway closed their doors in early November, 2013. Apparently they had a dispute with their landlord.

Was skeptical at first to go to this restaurant. Tucked away under a bar. The pizza was fantastic! We ordered the medium vege pizza, and loved every bite. The whipped cheesecake was like gram used to make, I even licked the plate! The prices are reasonable. The view was overlooking the creek, and very peaceful.

This tucked away restaurant is hidden in the corner of empty buildings and art galleries. There's a eat in bar street level and lower restaurant area with a huge deck facing a limited slightly over grown view of the Sedona red mountains. Depending on where you sit dictates the view. We were seated right away our wait staff was friendly... More

Tired of all the pretentious spots filled with the SoCal yuppies? Go grab some pasta and cheap wine at Hideaway. It's just what we were in the mood for. Some character was playing his acoustic guitar, no pretense. The servers are a bit surly, but the food is good and we didn't have to put up with fluff and stuff.

A not-so-well-know smaller restaurant right in downtown Sedona. Tables overlooking the creek, wonderful smells, great place and inexpensive. A+ for a nice lunch in beautiful Sedona!

Outdoor rustic deck seating above the Oak Creek Riparian Habitat. Great -great setting/location. Best and most consistent Pizzas for ages, both pre-Millenium and post Millenium, Ordered take-out this time so missed the open air and Guitarist accompanying. Find time to sit while the weather stays nice for a "Decked Out " experience, they have pastas's also.
