Nice selections, huge portions. Good service. The walnut salad was very good. The oyster po-boy was good but, a little too much bread.
Stopped in two weeks ago with a friend visiting from out of state. We asked for a seat on the patio, which was fairly empty just before noon. By 12:15 the patio was nearly full on this perfect weather day. I had a spinach salad and my friend had a sandwich. I can't remember the particulars of what we ordered,... More
This was our second visit to Shugrues, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The views are amazing, especially if you arrive at sunset. The service was outstanding - attentive without being invasive or rushed. My husband's scallops were delicious, and my petit filet was tender and cooked to perfection. It was a special treat to enjoy live jazz... More
Sit outside if you can. That may mean you have to eat lunch a little later to avoid the crowd. The food is really good (not the best but good). I had a turkey sandwich with goat cheese cabbage. They were both very tasty. I'm not a fan of their margaritas because they are all sweet and I prefer tart.... More
We stopped at lunchtime to make a reservation for the evening. we were debating about eating outside and watching the sunset, but they have no heat lamps. The hostess said she would seat us inside against the window. They have Mesquite grilled Rib eye on the menu but we were assured they could mesquite grill the filet. We made our... More
Took friends visiting from Seattle here for lunch. We ate outdoors and enjoyed the magnificent views from their deck. We've eaten here before and the food remains solid. The Ginger Chicken Salad was a favorite for 3 of us.....very nice marinade, candied walnuts, and fresh greens. The fourth member of our group had a huge burger of some type that... More
Voted best restaurant in Sedona 2013. I can see why. We were a large group and no one had a complaint. I had the prime rib, my partner salmon. Both excellent. It sits in a larger area known for the shopping so make it a destination if you are into that. We had good service. The lemon cake for desert... More
We ate here on our first night in town. The view of the red rocks were incredible, and after dark we enjoyed the view of the town lights. I had the scallops and was truely amazed at how excellent they were. My husband had prawns, which were also excellent. We were told later that they fly their seafood in daily.... More
I guess it's all about the view at this place which is set on a hillside in Sedona. The food is American and our party had a variety if burgers. Telmex fare and sandwiches. The food was average, the service was the worst and the view was fine but one you can get by just walking around.
