The food was wonderful and the service is fabulous. It is so hard to find this type of service. Ask for Gary. The French onion soup and Brie are a great start.

We visited Rene for lunch. Don't let the "elegant" reference put you off. Although it is an elegant setting, Rene certainly caters to the more casual tourist, as Sedona visitors tend to be. I (female) was in a baseball cap and was made to feel just as at home as the beautifully appointed woman at the next table was. The... More

We arrived one night at 5:15 p.m. and were told they weren't seating anyone until 5:30 p.m. The restaurant didn't sound worth a 15 minute wait in the cold outside so we left. We came back 2 nights later and were asked whether or not we had a reservation. The restaurant was basically empty and the hostess said, "Well, I... More

We ate at Rene's on the suggestion of the owner of the bed and breakfast we are staying. Just want to say what a great choice. The service, decor and wine list were terrific. We had the Brie appetizer which was very good as well as the French onion soup. The BLT with tomato bisque were average. We would return... More

We come to Rene fro the foodie experience we can't quite get in Prescott. Food is always great. Service is pleasant and courteous. Wine selection is good. We keep returning. With regard to reviews that question if food is French or Italian, it doesn't matter. Just think Continentall!

We stumbled upon this quaint restaurant while wandering through the awesome shops of Tlaquepaque on our first day in Sedona. We made a reservation and, the day we were going to have dinner, they called us to discuss where they were going to seat us and asked if that was ok with us. So well thought out. We were there... I have been dining and enjoying great wine at Rene for years. When I worked at Poco Diablo in the 80's I went there twice a week with my friend Sis. She was a bartender also. When we came in, Renee would ask what bottle of wine were we having before dinner. We always started with wine and took our... More

The lunch we had here was amazing. We were able to sit outside and it was a beautiful day. The sautéed brie appetizer was to die for. Honestly, I haven't stopped thinking about it and I really want to try to remake it at home. The wine was lovely and the service was unobtrusive and prompt.

Rack of lamb is exceptional. Scallops tender and juicy. Great ambiance, wonderful waitstaff. Reservations suggested.
