We were in Sedona for three days back in October and came here for dinner one night. We read the positive reviews and made reservations early in the afternoon for the same evening. Our waiter was a little stiff in the beginning, but "thawed" as the night went on. We enjoyed some delightful dishes and possibly the best tiramisu I... More

The Rene was a delightful surprise. We were looking for Southwest cuisine for lunch but found French. It was simple serendipity! We started with the Portobello Bisque which had great characteristic flavor served at a perfect temperature. Then the main course was the Cilantro Scallops. Great presentation with carrots and chopped nuts; this was outstanding. Finishing with their chocolate dessert... More

Whenever we come up to Sedona we stop here and this time was for lunch. The atmosphere was great and decorated for Christmas with white tablecloths and a french bistro feel. We had a salad with spinach and figs and feta cheese it was fresh and delicious. We had the Kobe burger which was great with sweet potato fries. It has... More

I had a meal there on my birthday. They have a lovely courtyard area outside. The inside definitely has a French vibe. There was a woman singing and playing piano softly. Excellent service. Had flaming Bananas Foster by the table...delicious! Only complaint is that I would like to see a better selection of beer.

Rene have a specialty dish that we were particularly hoping to get & we know from previous experience it is not always available, so we called ahead to check it was on the menu & available. We were told it was,so on the word of the Rene representative we headed into town. Alas upon arrival we were advised by our... More

The food is OK but i think it is over rated and expensive for what you get. The Tlaqupaque plaza is very beautiful so worth the visit !

Good: Food and interior was excellent. Not so good: Just one restroom for such a big restaurant. Very formal.

The restaurant nestled inside Tlaquepaque is beautiful, but the inside of the restaurant is outdated. Some of the staff was unfriendly and right down phoney, in fact only a few of them ever smiled. The bartender, John was the nicest and I didn't even have a drink. I caught one waiter (not ours) rolling his eyes every chance he got.... More

I have been to many restaurants in Sedona over the years but my recent experience at Rene was fantastic. Nice looking place with outstanding food, right in gorgeous Tlaquepaque. It's not cheap but perfect for a special occassion.
