Quirky Decor

Unusual atmosphere, but fun! Food was good; diner-like with an outer space twist. Service was attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

There is something for everyone here, lots of different dishes. My 2 year old is too young to care about aliens, but it's a kitschy stop with good food. Our food came out quick, was hot, and good. My son loved his mac & cheese so much he ate it all and wanted more, that came out quickly also. Nothing... More

Good food at a decent price. One of the most interesting decorated places I've been to. Have been several times not and the only complaint I have is the staff speaks Spanish to each other, kind of makes you wonder what is going on.

We stopped here because we thought it might be 60's restaurant. We were surprized when we entered, it was like going into another planet. The food was average. But I really thought the coleslaw was great. My husband ordered a hot beef sandwich. It was a little strange, they brought the potatoes in a separate dish. He did have gravy... More

After driving around looking for somewhere to eat after 8pm we came across this diner. Being diner fans we decided to give it a try. First off the décor is abducted alien and sci fi. We were very leery at first but decided hunger won out. Once seated we start to look around. Alien and sci fi everywhere but in... More

Our group ended up here when our dinner at another restaurant was cut short by a power outage. We had some good chuckles with the theme and interior decor. As mentioned in other reviews, some sort of alien abduction is going on. There are busts of many of your favorite sci-fi characters both obvious (Spock) and obscure (why James West).... More

Being from a state that's famous for it's diners, my wife and I had to stop in this one. The interior, well let's say tacky sci-fi ( sorry guys, but this needs a re-do ). The food, was very good. We both decided to pick something from their Mexican Selections and were not disappointed. Spicy, not overpowering. 2.5 - 3... More

One of the few places open after 9pm. It's a decent diner. A few years back I would have given them a 1 star. Now I'm beginning to like them. They're about the only place open after 9pm and good for kids. They need to touch up the place a bit on their theme (aliens), but the food is actually... More

I've been to Sedona several times and have always wondered what Red Planet Diner was all about. A few of us stopped for dinner one evening and ordered burgers and fries. My burger was cooked perfectly and was nice and juicy. Everyone else was happy with theirs too. The server was nice but distracted and overly busy. This place has... More

We were shut out of the Coffee Pot, but lucky for us the Red Planet had the parking and seating. The breakfast was very good as well as the service. The décor a bit quirky but fun. For the baby boomers, the music was great!!! Beatles, Marshall Tucker, and one of our fave songs Spirit in the Sky. Enjoy!!
