What Dan’s is: an okay little restaurant in a strip mall, a BYOB establishment with a reasonable $6.00 corkage fee and an outstanding guitarist, named John DZ. What it isn’t: A European bistro with an interesting menu, well prepared and artistically served food, or anything else remotely upscale. More like an American diner with linen table clothes and candles, oh... More

Four of us had dinner here for the first time tonight and were immediately impressed by the quiet ambiance and almost European style of the place. Our server was great, friendly, personable, funny, attentive and appropriate. The food was lovely with generous portions, nicely but not ostentatiously, presented. Prices are moderate with some expensive entrees. We just loved the place... More

We were able to obtain reservations for Saturday at 2 pm that afternoon for 6:30 that night so I was a little concerned. We were told at the outset that they did not serve wine and we could provide our own with a $6 corkage fee. We thought what a bargain as we went in search of our favorite wines... More

Went for a business dinner, and maybe they just weren't prepared for the large group. Service was so-so, as was dinner. Fish & veggies over cooked, and beef room temperature. Dessert was glorified jello pudding. The atmosphere wasn't much either. Simply put, not impressed & don't understand all these glowing reviews.

This is our third year going to Dan's. The place is small, casual, and quiet. Servers are personable. The menu has a middle eastern flair, creative entrees. $6. charge for wine corking. Prices went up since last year. A good place to get away from all the faux southwestern hype.

Four of us had dinner at Dans Bistro on May 1st and we had an excellent experience. We took two bottles of wine with us and the staff was very accommodating. Two of us had beef bourguignon which was outstanding and for $19 it is a great deal. One person had the grilled Red Snapper special and the other person... More

A friend and I recently visited Sedona. She hadn't been there in years and hadn't eaten at many places. I suggested Dahl and DeLuca, which is always a treat. However, it was completed booked that night, so we set off to find another restaurant. My friend is a techy and quickly looked at her IPhone to find a place. She... More

The gourmet meals were very tasty and well-prepared. Service was excellent. They do not have a liquor license, so you are allowed (encouraged) to bring your own wine. Corkage is $6.00 per bottle. Odd location in the corner of a strip mall; you have to really look for the sign on Hwy 89A.

We went to this restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor. The dinner started with the waitress asking if we brought a bottle of wine. We don't drink much, but I had read they charge a corkage fee ($6) so we just stuck with water. The amuse bouche was O.K. A dry cracker with a bit of brie. We... More

We ate dinner tonight at Dan's after reading the reviews here. The was hands down our poorest food experience in Sedona. After we were told by our very nice waiter that all the fish was sold out - we scrambled to find something to eat. We settled on sharing the large chopped salad and I ordered the small mussels. My...
