We chose to spend our last night here instead of at Elote, which gets rave reviews. The food was very good by local standards, but pretty average by big city standards. Atmosphere is very understated and subdued, and plenty of room between tables which enhances the simple intimacy of this hard-to-see-from-the-road restaurant. Service was very professional. Note: You have to... More
Amazing, delicious, relaxing, classy, superb, meals was comparable to high end restuarant in any large city, the service is the best with a heart warming presence, and the ambience takes you to somewhere magical.
My wife and I had dinner here on a Thursday night after driving up from Phoenix. It was about half full and the service was excellent. My wife had the much recommended Beef Bourguignon en Croute and I had the Veal Schnitzel Foristiere. Both were fantastic but the Veal was unbelievable. Somehow they managed to keep the crust crunchy while... More
We were in Sedona for the Arts Festival and stumbled upon this great little gem near the hotel. Loved the BYOB concept for this upscale restaurant. It was hidden away to the back of a parking area...not much to look at from the street, but very lovely inside. Food was fresh...always order the special...waitperson was attentive, prices were somewhat highend,... More
I almost titled it "Good, not Great". We had a very agreeable meal here. The pate was excellent. Most in our group of eight ended up ordering the chicken special and all agreed that it was really very ok---just not memorable. Temperature control in our back room was a challenge. Our waitress was very friendly and very professional. BYOB--very reasonable... More
Unassuming from outside but best to book as busy. Simple interior decorated with photos of various places in Italy. We started with a plate of antipasta to share then had baked penne pasta with lots of vegetables and the pan fried trout which were both delicious. The byo charge of $6 makes the drinks price very reasonable.
Had a nice dinner with my parents while on vacation. My entree was well done but the standout was definitely the creamed spinach served as a side. I was disappointed with the attention we received from our server. Considering the restaurant choices in the area and the price point of the meal I expected more.
After reading the Trip Advisor reviews and seeing the ranking, we expected a bit more. The food was good, but the service was just adequate. Not much atmosphere and the lighting was a bit harsh.
