I wanted to like this restaurant but the food was gross and the cost was way too high. I tried the chilled coconut thai soup and it was easily the worst tasting soup I ever ate. I tried the Sedona 2012 wrap and it was equally as bad and barely edible. I have been vegetarian/vegan/raw food since age 19 and... More

I truly enjoyed each item and dish I had. I ate her 3 times on vacation but probably ordered the equivalent of six meals as I was excited to try so much. I remember the waffle, muffins, the handmade chocolate the most. Although I had multiple sandwiches as well. We sat both in the front outside on a couch and... More

If you're in to raw or cooked vegan dishes and want to try a place lost in a time warp, stop in here. Make sure to allow a little extra time for your meals. The small staff is working at a "Maui" pace and, while very friendly, definitely take their 60's style environment to heart. The menu is varied and... More

Even though the sign in the entry way says "Please wait to be seated," wait staff is inattentive and ignore you (and it wasn't even crowded). Mushroom Fantasy was pretty good; Ginger Cinnamon Spice Pie was kind of blah. The inside is dark and funky. If you are a die hard vegan/vegetarian you may like it, but personally, I would... More

I am a gluten-free vegetarian and I was very excited to try this place. The back patio was very very dark but pretty. A very lovely atmosphere. We waited an extremely long time to get waited on. We ordered spring rolls as appetizers which were delicious. My daughter and I love spiced Chai tea so we ordered this as well.... More

A really unique vegan restaurant ... dishes I've never had before, and a wait staff eager to explain everything. The prices seemed reasonable. They do also sell an array of useless "alternative" herbal medicinals, As a humorous aside, we used a GPS to try to find this place, and it took us one hour and about 60 miles out of... More

We went to ChocolaTree twice within one week both times we were invited by our friends who eat here often. I wasn't expecting to find such a wonderful setting in a secluded area in the back of the restaurant! It was just perfect and magical during the evening. Staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The food was... More

Our meal was simply amazing! We had chilled Spring Dragon Tea with an 8 immortals shot. For my entree I had the Sedona 2012 wrap. And my companion had the Mushroom Fantasy. We ended the meal with a delicious chocolate buddha. We sat in the garden on a couch and ate off the coffee table. Very comfy and relaxing. They... More

Visiting with my family of 10 ( a mini family reunion) who are mostly into healthy living, we decided to give this restaurant a try. There is no atmosphere and the food reminded me of what healthy food was prior to the Whole Foods revolution, mostly flavorless. Healthy fresh food can be amazing. I was disappointed.

The chocolate, can we just devote this whole review to chocolate? I think so. But not just any chocolate; raw, vegan, organic; homemade with spring water, crystal energies, and love. Oh, and, of course, delicious. There is a huge fridge full of chocolates, chocolate cups, cakes, fruit and nut bars, etc, as soon as you walk in, bounty beyond your... More
