Breakfast is served between 7-9:30am we found it to be quite good with great options for as much or as little as you might want. Dinner begins at 6pm with a happy hour to mingle, quite fun actually and we met some nice folks. Dinner was prepared well with good tastes and textures 5-6 courses so come hungry. A decent... More

Garlands has this fantastic reputation as Sedona's most special dining experience anywhere. Well, not so. The setting IS nice, but last evening the food was lousy. For starters their websight menu listed beef short ribs as the entre for the date, but when we sat down we were surprised to learn it would be pan-seared scollops with boc-choy. UGH. The... More

We ate dinner here but did not stay here. Starts with cocktail hour at 6:00 where you mingle with guests then at seven you are seated at assigned tables. Our meal of tenderloin steak and scalloped potatoes was good, not exceptional. The atmosphere is very cool although not Arizona unique.

We stayed at Garlands last week and dined here 4 evenings. The food was fabulous. The new Chef is doing wonderful job. Breakfasts were divine as well. Service for dinner is SLOW. Be prepared to take your time and enjoy your company!

We visited Garlands with our extended family and found this place to be a relaxing haven! Woodsy cabins without TVs and phones, lovely dining room that serves the American plan (breakfast and dinner), and absolutely beautiful grounds that include a stream, apples trees, and a garden! Very close to the town of Sedona but tucked back so that you feel... More

This is a must see location in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon right off the creek. Whether you stay in a cabin or make reservations for dinner, it is a treat. Most of the time the weather is warm enough to enjoy before dinner drinks on their lawn. If not you can have them by the fireplace inside.

The lodge building and grounds are perfect and absolutely beautiful. Everyone is served in the rustic but elegant dining room at the same time, making for a festive, communal atmosphere. The dinner was good and it was nice that they incorporate their own produce into some of the courses. They have some excellent unique cocktails too. I thought a little... More

This "fixe prix" place was once the "go to" for a fabulous meal. They still have an enchanting location with lovely flower garden and the recipes seemed much as before but the pea soup was served lukewarm and the halibut was overcooked and also served far less than hot. We understand the place changed hands last year so maybe they... More

This was our third year at Garland's. It is difficult to tell that this place is under new ownership. It's grounds are still kept impeccably. There is a flower gardener,a vegetable gardener and an orchardist. When we were there, the peahes and plums were ripe, and being incorporated into their menus. Our cabin had an incredible view of the red rocks... More
