The surroundings are nice & typical of what you'd expect for a Mexican place-the food & service followed suit - nothing unexpected & nothing compelling me to return.

Originally Maria's was our second choice for dinner, but it should have been our first. The food was DELICIOUS! The lazy Susan of salsas was a nice surprise, and they were all very tasty. The beef burrito may have been the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. It was smothered in salsa and cheese that ran into the other ingredients... More

We found Maria's just driving around Oak Creek Village looking for somewhere to eat. Now I don't like Mexican food but there are other things on the menu. We had burger and chips and it did the job. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, good food.

Excellent Mexican food at great prices. Wonderful house margaritas, get the grande size to save money! Huge menu, friendly staff, nicely decorated.

I ordered the deep fried ground beef tacos with rice and beans. The taco shells were pre made out of the box. If I wanted fake tacos I would have gone to taco bell. The refried beans appeared and taste as if they were out of a can. We were the only ones in the place at 4 in the... More

We were the only ones in the restaurant for an early lunch. The food was good, especially the salsas. Johnna was a our server and was friendly and attentive. Our lunch was displayed deliciously on the plate.

This place is sort of local to us and we go occasionally when in that particular area. Reliable good food, all fresh made and pleasant service. It's a small place and has a feel, and taste, of eating at someone's home. If you expect 'commercial' Mexican this is not it. If you want good home style Mexican at a decent... More

Average Mexican fare at inflated prices. Found a long hair in my husband's chimichanga after he'd eaten half of it. Terrible coffee. We would not return.

The food was good. Being from Texas I was impressed with the food. It wasn't like the Mexican food I'm use to but it was good. We had a new waitress and she did not get all our order right but it was fixed in a pleasant manner. I would go back if ever in town again.
