Thought it was a cute little dive bar right in the heart of Old a Town, but too small and crowded. They had live music so that was a plus πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Our favorite place in Old Town. Lots of personality and very unique chairs. Great live music and just a fun atmosphere.

Yeah, probably a little touristy, but the place had the feel of a good dive bar. Good beer selection and live music too.

I thought the place was great. Though it is rather small, there is live music, and a tiny dance space. Everyone is very friendly and I definitely got the impression that it is a spot for locals. Drinks are adequately priced, and it is centrally located so if you decide you want to bar hop, other locations are within walking... More

Our vacation side trip on Saturday, 25 October 2014, to Scottsdale included a stop at the oldest saloon in Arizona. It was here, at the Rusty Spur Saloon, that we experienced the oldest game in the bar business. My girlfriend ordered their special Moscow Mule made with Titos vodka. Sitting at the table directly in front of the bartender, she... More

Went in to the Rusty Spur Saloon to get their signature drink " The Mule" Tito's Vodka with ginger beer and lime. I watch the bartender make the drink with a different vodka that was pulled for the rail. Then the drink was brought to me I asked again if this was Tito's. The waitress that acted like she didn't... They only serve lunch and have not eaten there. Have been told the hamburgers are great. They have music every night. Thursday - Saturday the house band performs and they are great. Friday and Saturday night get there early or you won't get a seat, standing room only. Thursday nights if you get there befor 8:30pm you should find a... More

Great place for a beer and some music. It was an old saloon. Make sure you get a picture of yourself in the special stools at the bar

We found this bar about a year ago, while staying in the area. We come to Scottsdale about every month and always go to the Rusty Spur! Great live entertainment and drinks. Been in business since 1951!

Maybe it was what we ordered but we couldn't eat our meal. The waitress was nice and they had a guitar player there. There to attract tourists not for good food. Should have been a clue when most of the people there were just drinking.
