We had a group of five for a business dinner. We had reservations and had an excellent server. We ordered a bottle of wine, two appetizers, two salads, three sides to share, and dessert, in addition to our entrees. We ordered shrimp cocktail, escargot, Caesar salad, chopped salad, Bone-In-Filet, creamed spinach, scalloped potatoes, steamed asparagus, and Mastro's Signature Warm Butter... More

Reserved for a birthday and wished we hadn't. The atmosphere is pretentious and crowded and the food was mediocre. The $65 steak was just that, a slab of meat on a white plate... Nothing else. You order side dishes separately and they really aren't anything special. There are many many superior restaurants in the area, with better atmospheres, better food... More

My father-in-law was very excited about taking us to Mastro's for "out of this world" steak. I ordered the special which was a wagu beef steak. My father-in-law ordered the rack of lamb. My steak was mostly fat. The waiter said it would be marbled. I think that was an understatement! I ordered the steak medium rare. It was barely... More

This is high-end steakhouse with entrees averaging around $40-50, but what you're really paying for is the experience their exceptional service brings. It makes every aspect of of dining at Mastro's a special occasion. We dined with a group of 12 and so were seated in a private room. The waiter (with 2 helpers) was knowledgeable and set just the... Amazing service and the food is always perfect. Never a poor meal and always impeccable drinks. Wine list is very comprehensive and the Sommelier is very helpful. Recommended!

This place is pricey but if you are going to pay for a good steak anyway take the drive and go here!

Excellent food and experience. I would say the place is very expensive not for the faint hearted when you receive the bill. But all in all a fantastic experience!

Before this week, the last time I ate at Mastro's Scottsdale was years ago. I've told my husband of the amazing dishes including the butter cake. Finally, I was able to take him to Mastro's (we live in Northern California). He is now a believer and whenever we visit Arizona we will travel hours to dine at this restaurant.

Love this restaurant, not real cheap but oh so worth the dollars spent. Being a beef lover, the steaks here are to die for! We have never had anything, from salad, to desert that was not fantastic. Be sure to come with a hearty appetite ......

Mastro's does it right when it comes to steaks and service. Also like how it is low key and not one of the trendy restaurants where it's more important to be seen. It is expensive so be prepared to part with some big bucks, $200 for 2 without a bottle of wine. Enjoy!
