Wonderfully prepared, but definitely uninspired...

Classic, traditional steakhouse. Nothing special by any means in the way of interesting choices on the menu. Your steak will arrive on a white plate without adornment. Noooo surprises here. Expensive, but if you enjoy basic well-prepared meats you will be happy. Very good service. If you want a... read more

Business dinner for small group. Service was very polite, but staff seemed to have too many tables. Wine selection was good and wine service was excellent. Menu is standard steakhouse, all a la carte. Prices for entrees and sides are very high, standard for steakhouse. Minimal preparation options for seafood. Food quality is good, preparation is uninspired. Heavy reliance on... More

Went here with a small business group after a day long meeting. Staff was extremely accommodating from the moment we came in. No pressure to order quickly and the offer of cocktail or wine was timely - again with no pressure. The specials outside of the menu were tempting. I ordered the double cut veal chop with a few side... More

This very popular restaurant is one of the busiest we have visited. Waitstaff and customers went by our table at a freeway at rush hour like pace. There were some minor collisions and I expect there are occasional major collisions. Everything has a well programmed feel to it and it is a very impressive operation to observe. The steaks are... We booked an early reservation and then arrived a half hour earlier than that...so we were the first couple seated for dinner. Thomas, our waiter, was attentive throughout the evening despite the restaurant filling up quite quickly. I had a filet and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass, and both dishes were prepared to perfection. The salads and sides... More

We made a reservation and as first time diners were somewhat surprised to be seated in a lounge with a noisey bar and surrounded by sports television screens. Mastros was recommended as a fine dining restaurant so this seemed odd. I looked around and saw an adjacent room with beautiful white decor and elegantly clad servers. We asked to be... More

Being from the highly acclaimed desert area for years with loads of great previous meals served here, giving this a '3' rating is being kind. Firstly, from beginning to end, the staff up front (hostesses) deserve 4.5 stars. After being seated (our party of 7), things were odd... Our party was set in the back corner of the restaurant, which... More

We met our financial planner at the Mastros bar, at his suggestion, to celebrate a deal. We arrived first and there was one other couple in the bar. No one took our order initially. Then a man brought us water and then started to walk away. I told him we'd like a couple drinks and he asked what we wanted.... More

We love all of the Mastos and this one is no exception. Great atmosphere, excellent food and service. If you go to this one make sure you ask for Tony! Hands down the best server in town!
