Description: The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.

Atmosphere was great, staff was very friendly and offered a superior experience for us. Flavors in everything were superb, my steak was perfectly prepared, and if I am in the mood to spend that kind of money on a meal, I would certainly choose Wildfish. Appetizers are spectacular and could make a fine entree if someone is wanting to try... More

This restaurant is directly across from the Scottsdale Fashion Square so you can park in the garage behind Nordstrom and walk over here. We used OpenTable to book the reservation - worked great and our server greeted us by name when he came to the table (Drew - awesome service!). We were a bit surprised by the rather pricey entree... Odd to me that the menu is very similar to Eddie V's.... In any case, as you would expect, attentive service and good menu. With the higher end prices, you pay for what you get...and so this is a good option. The decor is fairly standard generic....homogenous with the bit higher end restaurants. We did enjoy our meal but again... More

Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy fresh and tasty shellfish at this restaurant. The bulk of my group ordered the Surf and Turf (lobster tail and center cut filet mignon) as well as two shellfish towers that came with a decent mix of oysters, crab, and ceviche. Everyone was pleased with both the... More

Our first time at Wildfish. Staff were attentive & very friendly. We were allowed to enjoy leisurely cocktails while we looked over the menu. We ordered a shrimp cocktail and the steak & lobster tartare as appetizers. I had high hopes for the tartare (I eat it whenever & where ever it is offerred) but was disappointed as it lacked... More

We had dined on a Monday night and the restaurant was fairly empty inside and one family outside on the patio. With this in mind, we received very attentive service from the time we were seated to the time we left. My wife and children ordered the lobster and shrimp bisque and thought it was very good, better than Capital... More

We had dinner at the Wildfish Grille in Scottsdale with out of town friends who were visiting. We made reservations online for 7:00 p.m on a Saturday evening. We arrived at the restaurant about 10 minutes early and checked in at the hostess stand. The hostess informed us that our table was ready and we could be seated at any... More

There were about 20 of us and they gave us a great area to sit. They had great specials and the servers were very attentive. There were good choices on the menu. The main staple is seafood but they also had steak and chicken along with a few asian dishes. I had the filet mignon and grilled shrimp. The portions... More

We have eaten many times at Wildfish in Newport Beach and this was our first time at the Scottsdale location . Our expectations were fully met. We like to share dishes -- they are ample enough and that way we get to taste more items. Everything was excellent. The stand outs were the crab cakes, the calamari with cashews, the... More
