Description: The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.

Atmosphere great, service extraordinaire , and the seafood amazing. We had the swordfish and Chilean sea bass and very pleased with the meals. Definitely would go back

Most of the time I think that restaurants overcharge and the food is not so great. However, our visit to Wildfish changed my opinion at least once. The fish was excellent. The chef didn't get carried away with trying to make it taste like something else. I had the ahi tuna which was one of the best seafood dinners I've... More

After leaving another establishment and arriving here about 4:45 we were surprised that the bar only had a few patrons so we chose to sit at the bar and have our drinks and eats. The staff were friendly and I ordered a very limey cosmo and husband ordered a pinto grigio. My cosmo was very good and his wine was... More

We are well traveled and have eaten in premium restaurants as well as dives. This restaurant is like so many others that cater to corporate expense reports and people that are trying to impress someone. The food was bland and very boring. The decor was nice and the wait staff were ok but overall this place is not worth your... More

Warmly greeted upon arrival, took a seat at the bar to wait for our seating time and ordered a drink. The bartender was prompt and friendly. They offered half bottles of wine which was perfect for me and my husband ordered a cocktail. Both of which were good. We were seated before our reserved time, which was nice. The waitress... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Wildfish Seafood Grill on Camelback Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. Friday night is our "Date Night" and this was a great venue. The food and wine choices are extensive, the preparation and presentations are first-rate, and the wait staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The decor is inviting and the noise... Busy place. NYE. Had dinner in bar and it was fantastic. Fresh oysters and excellent steaks. Perfect place to celebrate fiesta bowl win. Congrats to the Manager (Buckeye) that visited our table - nice Sugar Bowl win. The prices are a little high compared to other places we visited in Scottsdale, but the quality is high and the presentation is... More

We were in Scottsdale recently and met friends here for dinner. I had not been there before but was looking forward to it. First: It is a relatively large operation with ala carte service, bar and sushi bar. Decor is big city elegant. The menu features seafood and prime meats and all of us went for the seafood. I had... The menu selection is great (similar to Eddie V's Prime Seafood in Scottsdale) so we enjoyed excellent seafood meals. My wife had the Lemon Sole and continues to rave about it. I tried the Halibut and found it to be excellent, too, especially the preparation of the filet. The Heirloom tomato salad was delicious as was the lumb crab cake... More

First impressions are everything but they can be overcome. The wife and I were looking for an early dinner with some great seafood so we gave them a shot. Upon walking in the door we were met by an attractive very young hostess in a tiny black dress. The good part quickly ended when she just stood there saying nothing.... More
