Description: The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly...
The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.

I was with some friends on a golf and tennis trip and we wanted to find a terrific local seafood place. We stumbled onto this place based upon someone's recommendation and it turned out to be a real gem. The food, the service and the scenery were all top notch and none of us came away feeling disappointed. Highly recommended.

Great combo of service and seafood in the heart of Scottsdale. Started off with a mix of Bluepoints and an oyster from the CA coast that had a refreshingly different mouth feel and taste than the Bluepoints. We had a party of 4 and my buddy's wife had the same dish as my wife, ahi tuna plate. My wife's was... More

Located near a large shopping area, Wildfish was busy even for an early dinner. Service was good. The food was tasty but not outstanding. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

I went here with business clients and first let me say that service was not good. It took quite a while for our waiter to come over. Drinks were served after the appetizer and the waiter came back sporadically throughout the meal. We had empty cocktail glasses and the waiter could have sold us more drinks. It wasn't that busy,... Just went there with some friends and it is even better than we remembered a year ago. We had the special, atlantic char, and it was fantastic. This is one of those restaurants that I order the special, because I know it will always be excellent.

While this restaurant is a little pricey, it's worth every penny. The atmosphere, service & food are beyond perfect. Our table had several appetizers-pot stickers, calamari & the tartare. Wow! That's all I can say. Huge portions, expertly prepared and beautiful presentation. For my entrée I ordered the shrimp with crab. Usually in a nice restaurant I'd expect to be... More

My wife and I were drawn to the diversity of the seafood menu, with offerings like grouper and Chilean sea bass. But as is often the case, we opted for old favorites....scallops and jumbo shrimp. We were not disappointed. We also ordered Brussels sprouts and asparagus as sides, both very well prepared...a little al dente. The service was first rate....understated,... More

We have eaten at this restaurant a handful of times, and it is consistently one of the best seafood restaurants - in Scottsdale, and in general. Yes, it is a bit pricey - but comparable to other similar restaurants in Scottsdale. I had the swordfish steak with lump crab, avocado, cilantro and diced red chiles ($31). Large chunky piece of... In reading another trip advisor for this restaurant, it was said that the restaurant was a sterile environment, but I found it to be the opposite. My husband and I sat at the bar. And I really do think the bar is a fun way of being entertained. We had a reservation, arrived a little early and ordered an appetizer... More
