This location was a bit hard to find - there is no sign easy to see as you walk by. My friends and I each had a unique and extremely delicious cocktail.

but food was good when you do find it....Need to park in the parking ramp, take the alley a block back and turn to the right....look for the restaurant where people are eating (on the left) at the next corner just before you get to the the parklike area of the mall...There are small AZ88 signs on the entry columns... this is another one of those "scene" restaurants from the variety of dining patrons to the interesting take on comfy food. i.e. grilled cheese. OMG. it is great. And the crowd tends to be younger, hip, waiting for something at Scottsdale center for the Performing Arts. Sitting outside is also fun. Another trademark is trying to find the bathroom entrance... Great bar and a lively scene to say the least. We had Tito's shaken with two blue cheese olives and a glass of house cab. Oh yeah, we had the Hell Fire Chips and then it was off to party heaven. This place is creative, consistent and great for people watching.

Delicious Cosmos, delicious potato chips w/blue cheese, and a delicious chicken sandwich. Waiter was extremely pleasant and the manager extremely nice! All in all a great time @ AZ88!

With tickets to see The Capitol Steps at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts we were searching for a good restaurant at which to have dinner before the show. We found AZ88, and very good and very convenient restaurant. Service was good and the food was very good. The restrooms were a bit hard to find and once inside... More

The food here is usually quite good, if a bit pricey. I ordered a cheeseburger which came out as a plain burger. Not wanting to disturb the pace of the meal of my companions, I accepted this. It was cooked rare as ordered. The waiter also did not bother to create separate checks as was requested. I enjoy this restaurant,... More

Decided to try AZ 88 based on good reviews. It did not disappoint. From the time we walked in the door, the staff was very friendly. Our server, Rebecca, was engaging and attentive. The Martinis were delicious. We had the BLT and Cobb Salad. Both were really good. The decor is hip and retro. To add to the fun, the... More

Although this is the only vegetarian option besides soup and salad on the menu, this restaurant is tastefully designed and brilliantly located within easy reach of downtown scottsdale! The decor is modern. The style is dash. It is an excellent place to have a cocktail with large outdoor seating and plenty of space to relax. Well recommended.....

My first time at this restaurant was back in 2000 so was delight to find them still open on recent business trip to Phoenix. Don't believe I've even really been inside other than getting a drink at the bar but I lave the patio. The menu is a collection of dishes I had a cobb salad nicely done large buy... More
