A pleasant surprise

We stopped in for a small bite after the Art Walk. We ordered drinks, Pony Pretzels and the wood fired octopus. Everything tasted great. Loved the cheese fondue with the pretzels. We thought the decor was very 1970's so were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised.

Pink Pony has been a Scottsdale icon for decades. With it's recent facelift, it should remain one of Scottsdale's favorites for many more. Sports memorabilia and fine steaks are the focal points for this great restaurant.

While walking in downtown Scottsdale, we came across Pink Pony. Food excellent. Preparation and presentations very nice. We had romaine salad with salmon and tuna burger with onion rings. Use of spices in food made it 5 star quality. Service outstanding. Atmosphere very very nice. A must stop dining experience.

This restaurant did not disappoint. I had a really good Arugula beet salad with an appetizer of fried onion rings/fries served with a tasty dipping sauce, it was really good, forget the catsup! The entrée of Fried chicken with a mole sauce was excellent. The cocktails were top notch and to die for! For those of us who love a... More

The first experience with the mules drinks. The Tower of London, Gin-cucumber-lime very refreshing great drink. Great food, try the Octopus Good Restaurant, different flavors.

A foo-foo restaurant now.. expensive items and no charm. The only good thing was the waiter and sitting out on the patio. I thought the redo was actually pretty ugly. It is just not the right setting for Old Town. Was disappointed at the re-design.

Though the Pink Pony is a historic restaurant, the menu is not worth the dinner prices and the wait staff could improve. The server kept "joking" but he just came across as sarcastic which made for uncomfortable interactions. If I were to go again, I would visit for happy hour and grab a drink along with some Pony Pretzels where... More

This is a great place for drinks and people watching. The recently renovated decor is a blend of the Southwest & Hipster, that being said it is overpriced and the food is remarkably average. Maybe they're still going through growing pains in the kitchen but for right now it is nothing to crow about.

Nice restaurant. Though they didn't have much on the menu for a vegetarian like me,the chef was kind enough to make me a special dish that was very good. We sat on the covered patio area and enjoyed watching the cars go by on Scottsdale rd. The waiter was very helpful and pleasant and the valet service was right out... More

We thought the remodel looked so good that the food would be too. It was ok and the new server was lovely but there are better places in old Scottsdale.
