Lovely meal

Dined here on April 10th while visiting the area for the first time. We heard all the great reviews so even though we had MANY restaurants within walking distance of our hotel, we decided to drive the 20 minutes to dine at Casa Mia. All four of our meals were very tasty and the ambience was comfortable and enjoyable. The service was prompt and attentive. My wife is a foody and is critical of meal quality and she gave a thumbs up on the halibut special. My risotto was good as was the kids' pasta. My only caveat would be that we paid downtown... More

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for our valentine dinner. I found Casa Mia surfing the web looking for a great place to eat. We were not disappointed! The food and services were amazing! We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

We are certainly foodies and I believe we have tried every Italian restaurant in Scottsdale. In our opinion this was the overall best from the host thru the wine, salad, entree and grappa. We had the salsiccia and the saltimbocca. Nothing left. Salads were ample, recommended Italian mid priced red was right on. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Not inexpensive.... More

As Italian (I come from Naples) I am often disappointed by restaurant claming "real italian food". Casa Mia brought me back to naples. The environment, the service and, most importantly, the food mastered by chef Danilo, is as authentic as it can be. If you are looking for "chicken piccata" or "tagliatelle alfredo" (no italian has ever heard anything about... More

Strip mall location in East Scottsdale/Fountain Hills. No outdoor seating and a very pleasant and active large open dining area. We were served by the owners son, who spoke Italian at our request (but will switch to English if you prefer) and talked about trips to Italy where his father originated. We had great salads and pasta (al dente) entrees... More

Probably one of the best meals we've had in the last 10 years here in Arizona. Restaurant is a little off the beaten path, compared to downtown Scottsdale, but definitely worth seeking out. It was my wife's birthday and we wanted something special - we got it. Started off splitting the caprese appetizer, which was superb with imported buffalo mozzarella.... More

We are a pair of Snowbirds - 1,500 miles from our frozen home back in the Midwest. We're far from home and it is Valentines day -- and although we've been married for over 30 years we still enjoy our Date Nights - especially when it's Valentines Day. We needed to find a quiet, romantic spot with great food and... More

This was a hunch. Checking TA, we saw the good reviews and bypassed a Thai meal to try an Italian meal. What a good choice! The owner took care of us along with the daughter of the chef. We started with a fine bottle of Maculan Chardonnay. Excellent choice. Then we split the Burrata. That was the owners recommendation, and... More

We eat gluten free + Paleo. Always worry a little about Italian restaurants. This was a top contender for best restaurant during our recent visit to Scottsdale. Family run w/excellence and high expectations - my sister got a delicious cocktail - something w/tequilla. We all had top notch salads, some soup, and a delicious portion of meat. Although in a...
