I would add a sixth star to this culinary oasis in the Arizona Desert if one was available. So...if you are craving a fine French lunch with all the atmosphere of a left bank Paris Cafe, be sure to dine at Zinc Bistro in Kierland Commons of Scottsdale. What a tasty and beautifully presented tuna salad on wheat toast, I enjoyed last Saturday! If that wasn't enough, the dessert of butterscotch pot de creme was magnifique! Although we... More

I thought Zinc was a great find in the Scottsdale area. Set in upscale Kierland, the restaurant was a wonderful combination of really good food and a fun place for an evening with friends. Service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance is just what a bistro should be. I had dinner with three friends and we were all extremely... More

We had a lunch a few wekks ago and got real RAW meat. My wife's burger was raw (e.g. barely warm and very red) on half the patty. My burger was fine until I got to the other side, it too was raw. They fixed it and did not charge us for one meal. The staff did great and we... More

Zinc is situated on a corner in the Kierland Commons shopping center. There is a substantial amount of outdoor seating and our party just anchored there and enjoyed the passing show. That pleasure was matched by the quality of the food. The service was a little sketchy (we had to ask twice for two items), but we did not care.... More

For a good, maybe kind of fancy brunch or lunch when you are in the area of this great small center for shopping, this bistro will not disappoint you. They have outside seating and on a day when we caught 70 degrees weather was fantastic. I had the cheese omelette and it is superb. Served with a salad with a... More

My previous ZINC review was like an NBC News blunder as it was supposed to be for the Greene House which I have since reviewed. This was my first visit to Zinc and my experience was mediocre. Very attractive but very noisy, but not because it was too busy, but loud music meant for ears much younger than mine and... More

If you want to catch a delicious lunch, people watch, while you relax in the middle of the day, then this is a great choice. The food is excellent French bistro style food, the service is good, and nothing beats sitting outside in Scottsdale. Kierland is an upscale shopping area, and this is a nice upscale bistro where you can... More

Had lunch in the Gaeden area. Service was prompt and friendly. Good menu selections. Once we ordered our food was promptly delivered. I had the steak salad. The meat was cooked and chilled to the temperature I asked for. Two others had the crab salad and are every bite. Desert was excellent as well would certainly recommend.

Had dinner here recently with friends. The place has a very charming atmosphere, the word bistro definitely fits. The bar area is quite noisy as is the dining room when it's absolutely full. We met a friend here We hadn't seen in 20 years so we wanted to visit. We arrived early and were able to visit before it became... More
