Fun with a large group!

Recently visited with a group of 14 people on a Saturday night, which can be a problem for most restaurants. We were seated outside and served by four servers - and they did it quite well. The drinks and food kept coming, and the group was in a pleasant mood. Dinner with an entree and two rounds of... read more

We have been to the location on Scottsdale Road twice, never to the location on Northsight. We have been told that this location is smaller and more casual. Both times we sat outside, once at a table and most recently at the bar. This location has a nice patio area, secluded enough that you forget it is on Scottsdale Road.... More

the restaurant was almost empty for lunch, which should have been a sign. Touristy type Mexican food, with little character. Not worth a second visit unfortunately

Outdoor seating was very pretty - lots of pottery, stone pavings, metal and tile tables and chairs. A big basket of tortillas chips and salsa served almost immediately...margaritas next! Had a really nice dinner with chicken and "corn mushrooms" served in a really nice sauce. would definitely go again!

I come to this restaurant at least once every time I visit the Phoenix area. It's unimpressive from the outside being located on busy Scottsdale Ave a few miles south of the more popular Old Town area. However, once inside it is a charming blend heavy wood tables inside and cheery outside patio. We like to sit at the bar... More

We ate outside on a lovely evening. The service was terrible- our waitress kept saying she would come back, but she didn't. The food was very good but was fancied up with extra sauces and vegetables. The food should speak for itself. BTW-- the white sangria is awful.

Sadly disappointed. I was expecting some Good Mexican food and what we got was mostly tasteless. The salsa lacked any flavor. I had Chili Rellenos and it was so greasy it left a puddle on my plate. Good sangria, good atmosphere but if your looking for some traditional Mexican food - this is not the place.

Three of us went to lunch here because we were craving Mexican food...and we eat Mexican food quite often! What we got was bland and void of any spice; it was all very mild. The salsas are either completely mild or habanero hot. The menu was a bit confusing as to what the dishes entailed, and the server didn't try... More

Good food and fair prices, but portions are small. So small that the entre left me still hungry. Chip and salsa are extra, but we splurged anyway to fill up. The atmosphere is pleasant and our waiter was quick to refill my ice tea. I gave the restaurant all fives stars. Really, however, if given the option, I'd give it... More

I had been to Los Sombrero’s two years earlier on a trip to Scottsdale, and vowed to return if I ever had another chance. The ambiance, with the charm of old world stonework, an open kitchen, outdoor patio, and cozy indoor seating, was memorable. I vowed to go there for my first meal when I returned to Scottsdale, and our... More
